Her aunt came and said,"Don't worry we will sort everything out and if we can't hopefully the suprise I have for you in the car will be enough." She smiled and walked away. Her father kept giving her death glares and she just got used to them.
The day ended quickly and at home she went and packed her suff. They got in the same car and he told her that she had to keep her head down. They drooped her off first and her dad said joyfully,"Finally shes going but just for one week then after that off to marriage."
She remained sient and wondered if this stranger she was marrying would be less abusive. She got out and Dave helped her with the bags and he said,"I put the gift from your aunt in your bag, I love you." He gave her a hug and kissed her on the forehead.
She got in the bus and sat by the window and she got lost in her own world. Her own world was were she would like to sleep and never wake up until things got better. Well escaping reality as some will call it but it was just too much that the word 'jump' just suited with the situation.
She took out her gift and found an Ipod with a necklace and a book. She switched on the Ipod and a song called 'Pralysed by NF' was playing.
She felt the song connect with her in ways that she couldn't imagine and she relaxed a bit. She took the book and saw that it was written Bible on it and she thought how odd it was cause in most shops she entered that book was always there. Christopher kept giving her glances during the ride there was something about her that , made him want to know more. He told himself that curiosity killed a cat but, he did not want to be killed.
They arrived at the camp and Christopher helped Rebecca with her bags and she remained silent but thanked him afterwards. Bills wife told the girls to take nice long showers and wear warm clothes. Rebecca waited for everyone to finish bathing and while she waited Persis had given her , her phone so she could play a Bible quiz and one question said,"God is not a God of the what?" she didn't know the answer and the answer was,"God is not the God of the dead."
After the girls finished bathing she went to bath and her scars were getting better.
She was about to wear her vest until she heard,"Well ,well fresh scars those show you are weak and easy to sacrifice." Her heart skipped a beat she felt something hard hit her back and she let out a loud scream. The person ran out and Bills wife came in and said,"Is everything alright." Rebecca said,"Yes I just thought I saw a bug." She replied,"Well if you tense up like that and hide those bruises every bug will eventually find you." Rebecca looked like a deer caught in headlights.
