The almost perfect relationship

POV: Averdine

his breath rancid from the beer. the taste of his kiss making me sick i try to push him off of me but he's much bigger and mich stronger than I am. he starts taking off his shirt than mine. he moves closer as if to kiss me and i hit him he falls and I throw him into the floor. "Stupid Isi," I say grabbing my shirt off the floor. I walk out of the room and towards the door but I look back and see him lying on the floor and I can't just leave.  I walk back over and pick him up laying his huge heavy muscle toned body on the bed. " I love you Monkey, " I say taking his hand tightly into my own. 

As I wait for him to wake up I head into the kitchen clean out the refrigerator and the dishes in the sink. I peer into the bedroom and he's still asleep.

In the time it takes me to sweep and mop the floor take off Isi's clothes, (except his underwear) wash them then dress him again and cook dinner. Isi rolled over once. I went in and shook him awake and he asked for water. I gave him the glass and went into the other room. i saw him run down the hall to the bathroom and i heard the most gut renching sound and ran to hold his hair. I gather his hair in my hands and rub his back. He doesn't move from the toilet for a while and then he tells me to leave. I stand up and walk down the hall and heat up the food he comes staggering down the hall his face covered in water and his mouth smelling like my mint toothpaste. "feeling better?" I ask. he just gives me a lazy nod. he covers his eyes with his hands and I grab a pair of sunglasses from the counter and place them on his face.  I touch his hand but he pulls away. I don't say anything and he stays silent for most of our meal except to moan in frustration at his throbbing head.  "first time drinking?" I ask. he gives me a look. "first time drinking so much." he says soon regretting it. "Come with me," I tell him.  I take his hand and lead him to the bedroom.  I lay down and wait for him to follow.  "No..." he says turning to go. "Isi, come here," I demand.  he turns around and I see the iritation in his eyes. he walks to the edge of the bed and I pull him in close. "lay with me," I tell him. he reluctantly lays in the bed with me and i pull him closer till we're touching from head to toe. "I know you did it for me...but if it means your people going without a leader...what will happen to those small children we saw? and all the people who follow you blindly? if your gone what will they do?" I ask.  "I can't rule properly without my queen." he tells me wraping his arms around me. "We have to find a way back." I tell him. He just nods. We whisper sweet nothings for a while then i see the sun falling between the buildings. "I'm tired." I tell Isi snuggling up to his chest running my fingers over his bare chest. "I love you Isi," I tell him. he smiles down at me and moves closer and kisses my ear. I giggle at the way his lips run over my ear and the breath he breathes down my cheek and neck. I roll over and place my back in the middle of his chest and he wraps his arms around me. "I love you too Averdine," he says kissing my shoulder.

Sweet nothings were spoken until I couldn't hold my eyes open any longer. Isi's warm body pressed against my back made me feel like I was about to burst from the heat but that his beating heart pulled me back in because I wanted to feel he was alive.

I twist around and look up at him and he looked down at me and smiled. "I tell you, that I love you true and I will always love you. don't you see that through it all I have stayed by your side and now I can't let you go. I love you more than the world I know and forever I will follow you. " I sing in a soft low voice. Isi smiles and touches my cheek his arms around me and his lips on mine. The night drug on till I closed my eyes and fell asleep in Isi's arms. His warmth and touch keeping me warm but making me hot wishing for our wedding night. Isi could tell and tightens his grip. "good night Isi, " I tell him befor closing my eyes not opening them till the morning.
