My most perfect woman

POV: Isi

I've lost her.

she's half way between my world and hers.  she's back home but she will see visions of me as other people. this is the curse of being between our two worlds. I can't get her back and she can't come back no matter what I do.

I lie in my empty bed and miss her. I start to cry and wish I would have never left her here alone.

I sit at the edge of the river and sigh thinking about what could have been. I soon find tears streaming down my face and I wipe them away trying to act strong but I can't. I have lost my beloved again and I am a fool for not telling her where I was going or that I would come back to her and that I loved her more than life itself.

I walk back to the castle and tell my men and advisors I'd be leaving to find her they protested but that night I opened a portal between my world and hers and stood in the middle. "I pray this works." I say clenching my fists as a pain shoots through my body. I land in the floor of Averdine's apartment I look around and it seems normal until I open the front door and there is yellow tape covering the door frame of her aparment I walk down the stairs and out into the street. I find a bus and get off as close to the hospital as i can get.  I run inside and find the nurses station and in a hurry i had forgotten I still wear war paint on my face.  "Averdine Carol's room please." I say. she gives me the number and and I run to the glass door seperating her from me. i press my hands against the glass and see her curled up in the bed a man standing over her. i run through the door and push him away from her and take her in my arms. "I thought I would never see you again." I tell her kissing her with a passion. "Isi..." she says wrapping her arms around my neck. the man standing in the room is quiet.  "I demand to know whom you are." he says. I turn to face him and see who he is and I look down at Averdine.  "He just showed up." she says recognizing my confusion.  "I am prince Isi Nanook. I am ever greatful that you have looked after her for so long. I was more than worried." I say touching her cheek holding her close kissing her forehead. "I love you Monkey," she says holding me. "Are you the one that inflicted the wounds on her?" "I never have and will never harm her...she earned them in battle." I say taking her hand. "what kind of battle?" the other me asks. "My tribe was being attacked. My stubborn Averdine came after me...I had left her in a safe place but she came after me..." I say leaning towards her resting my forehead on hers tears running down my face.  she puts her hand on the back of my head and entertwined her fingers in my hair. "I love you Isi," she says.  the other me looks on almost longingly.  "When can i take her home?" I ask.  " If you didn't cause her wounds yoi can both leave soon." he says.

I look over at Averdine and kiss her temple. " I can take you home..." I say caressing her cheek then kissing her neck. the other me turns and leaves after bidding us good bye.

a few days later I take her back to the apartment and she asks when we can go back to the castle. "I don't think that we ever will..." I say taking her hand. "What do you mean?" she asks. "We're stuck between your world and mine." she gasps as though she's hurt and I turn away. "What about your people? Why did you come after me if you knew that we could never get back? " she's angry at me. "I had to come for you. I had to have you by my side I can't survive without you. " I tell her. She walks to hrr bedroom and slams the door. "I love you Isi,  but your an idiot." she tells me. I walk to the fridge and pull out a beer and chug it. Soon I find myself drinking the entire case. I stummble towards Averdine's door and knock quietly. She opens the door and i push my eay in and lie on the bed. Averdine touches my cheek and frowns. "I thought you were smarter than this." she says trowing a pillow at me and pulling me up off the bed. "your sleeping on the couch." she tells me. angry I turn around throw the pillow on the bed and push her down. She squirms and hits me. "Your my woman, my perfect woman." I press my lips to hers and I'm lost to the feeling of her lips the warmth and I press in harder. she pushes on me but i dont move. after taking off my shirt then hers I don't remember what else happened.
