Cynthia's Miraculous Adventures with Ladybug and Cat Noir

Macaws & Pigeons don't mix! (Mr. Pigeon)

One beautiful morning in Paris~ 

Cynthia was over at Adrien's house, hanging out with him in his room as they were getting ready for school. 

"Come on, Adrien. It's time for school" Cynthia told her friend, getting her backpack on. 

"Yeah, you don't want to miss out on all the fun activities planned today" Cynthia's kwami Hoola added. 

Adrien then sneezed.

"What's that thing humans say when they do that?" Plagg asked. "Oh, that's right! It's 'Shut up!'"

"Plagg, that's rude" Cynthia said to the black cat kwami. 

"She's right" Adrien told his kwami, trying to teach him manners. "You're suppose to say 'bless you'"

"That's dumb" Plagg said. 

"Whatever" Cynthia rolled her eyes, annoyed with the ill-mannered cat kwami.

"Come on, let's go to school!" Hoola seemed more anxious about going to school than her owner and her friend. 

The two teens smiled and chuckled as they followed the scarlet macaw kwami out the door. 

Later at school, the students had a project assigned to them while the principal, Mr. Damocles was addressing the class. 

"You only have one day to work on your fashion piece, and it must be your own design. In ten hours your fittest presentation will be judged by none other than the great fashion designer Gabriel Agreste, the father of our very own student Adrien Agreste. Along with Mr Agreste's new business partners, Christoperson and Casandra Widdlestene, the parents of our other student Cynthia Widdlestene" 

"In fact, Adrien will model the winning design in his next photo-shoot"

This made Marinette, Cynthia and everyone else in the classroom excited.  

"And now, to announce this year's theme" Mr. Damocles addressed. "Derby hats" 

"Derby hats?" Marinette looked to Cynthia, sitting next to her. 

The two girls then glanced over at Chloe who was giving them a thumbs-down gesture, making Cynthia glare back at the blonde in anger. Boy, could Chloe sure get under her skin!

Cynthia knew this project was very important to her parents work and they were counting on her. 

But the pressure, man....

After class~

"Derby hat, derby hat, derby hat, derby hat!..." Marinette was looking through her sketchbook while Alya and Cynthia sat on a bench, watching her become paranoid. "I don't have any derby hat designs!"

"I've got top hats, caps, even two-horned hats!" Mari explained. "Need a beret? I'm your girl! A sombrero? No problem-o! But a derby?!"

"You know what? It won't even matter, cause I'll probably make a total fool of myself at the event, most likely trip over my stupid derby and collapse on Mr. Agreste; give him a full-blown concussion and Adrien will hate me! I'll never be a world-renowned fashion designer. MY LIFE IS OVER!!" Marinette exclaimed, overacting as she collapsed on her knees in front of her friends. 

"Oh, stop being such a drama queen" Cynthia told her. "Mr Agreste won't even be at the event" knowing from Adrien and her folks that he's never made a public appearance in a long time.  

"And besides, all this over a derby hat?" Alya added to her best friend. "Let me see your sketchpad, girl"

Marinette handed Alya her pink sketchbook and she began flipping through the pages. "There must be something in here"
