Violet POV
Mr. Poe took me and my siblings to the right family member, but I had a sneaking suspicion that that wasn't the last we'd hear of Count Olaf. And I'm worried for the girl, Julia. I hope she's okay after all that happened. We pull into the drive and Mr. Montgomery greeted us. Once Mr. Poe left, he showed us the Reptile room. In it was JULIA?!

(Y/N) POV
Monty open the door and he was surprised to see me.
"Well, long time no see." He said walking up to me. I clicked my tongue in a special pattern, to which he nodded. This pattern gave him the fact that my siblings didn't know who I was and he needed to use my alias.
"Julia, where have you been you were supposed to be helping me in the reptile room for the past week!" He scolded me, I thanked him in my head.
"I had an incident with a bad man, Dr. Montgomery." I said. Monty sent the kids to unpack.
"What are you doing here, (Y/N)! I thought you had died!" He whisper shouted at me.
"Count Olaf is after the fortune, let's just say I couldn't stay dead." I told him he groaned.
"Your parents had something to do with this didn't they!" He said.
"Yes, in fact I helped the fire. But look you have to keep an open eye, I swear I'll hang around and help as much as possible, but Olaf has initiated me as one of his own. I don't think it'll be that long until he takes advantage of that." I explained quickly.
"(Y/N)... ughhh fine. Don't let anything happen to the children, I've got it. Keep the act of my assistant, I'll cover you." I thanked him as the kids walked back in.
"We've finished Uncle Monty." Violet told him as she set Sunny down.
"Yes, good, me and Julia here were simply discussing feeding schedules, now remember the black mamba must be fed at three o'clock sharp!" He said and I picked up a random clipboard.
"Three o'clock sharp, got it." I responded. I pretended to write it down. I waited for Monty to do something else with the orphans. The orphans were helping with the reptiles, as I played with the Incredibly Deadly Viper. They went to the lobby as the bell ringed. I peeked through the door. Damn! Olaf followed me. I felt my body lurch forward, as if it wanted to run to him. What is this?! Some kind of Stockholm syndrome? No, I wasn't there long enough... there has to be something about this somewhere. Perhaps if I were to find the legend that Mom told me as a kid. All I remember from it was that it was about the fire goddess that fell from the heavens. I don't remember much else. The legend was just a bedtime story to me for years, then I accidentally found the mural of the legend that the Egyptians drew two years after Violet was born. That's when I learned everything I needed to know about my parents organization. I even joined after Klaus was born. The hardest part of it all was keeping it from Violet, then when Klaus was able to understand, him too. I shook my head to clear the thoughts and glared at Count Olaf.
"Good morning. I am Stephano, Doctor Montgomery Montgomery's new assistant." I almost gagged at the stupid voice he was doing. God, why can't he just leave my siblings alone! He locked eyes with me and I quickly shut the door to the Reptile room.

Count Olaf POV
I was under the guise of Stephano, the snake doctors new 'assistant.' I introduced myself to the kids, as I looked up I saw that brat (Y/N). I narrowed my eyes at her and she shut the door that looked very complicated to open. Brat.
"It's afternoon, and you're Count Olaf." The one with glasses told me. Geez, don't these kids appreciate a good disguise when they see one? The whole side of there family are brats isn't it. I held back a sneer and said something else instead.
"Perhaps one of you can take my suitcases up to my room? The ride along that smelly road was dull and unpleasant and Stephano is very tired." I said. The brats then continued to call me Count Olaf and refused to help me. Brats, the lot of them. I needed them busy, so I could teach my rogue minion what happens when they don't listen. plans ran through my mind, all of them ended with her dead. I wanted to smirk at the ideas, but my heart clenched. 'What the hell?' I thought to myself, but I didn't want to kill her. Plus, she's useful, a least for now. She abviously knows the in and outs of every where, which means she could get me into places I normally couldn't. She also is strong, flexible, elegant, beautiful. I shook my head, what was that?! The brats finally finished talking and the boy tried to close the door on me, to which I stopped it with my knife, a glare on my face. They are pushing their luck, if only I could use the one thats actually old enough to get the fortune, but she's presumed dead. She was smart, she knew that if she had stayed with her siblings the Baudelaire fortune would be in trouble. That brat. I started pushing the kids up the stairs. I mocked their parents. Then the blasted iguana clock thing went off. (Y/N) must have heard the commotion, because last minute she switched places with the Baudelaires and she was face to face with me.
"Well, don't you have a bit of courage?" I said, holding my blade to her throat. Her gaze darkened.
"Do it. Slit my throat. I protect those kids with my life. And if me dying to keep you from getting them is what it takes, than that's what I'll do." she said, she took a step into the knife which I yanked back from her in fear of her hurting herself. I was shocked at my actions and her face had confusion all over it. I quickly covered it up with a laugh.
"Oh, but dear, you can't die now, you have far too many... uses." I said, I set the knife down and walked circles around her. She stood still but followed my movements.
"Uses?" She questioned. This is it, my chance. If I play the cards just right.
"Why yes, you could prove very useful to me, while those... siblings of yours, don't even recognize you. You haven't changed that much over the years have you?" I struck a nerve, one close to her heart.
"No, no I haven't." She said softly. I smiled, that's perfect, trust me you idiot. Join my side.
"But, even if they don't know who I am, that doesn't matter. I swore I'd protect them, and that's exactly what I'll do! So back off!" I glared at her, so close! Whatever. You will see reason, (Y/N). You will join me in getting that fortune.
"By the way Olaf, just because you have a fortune, doesn't make you fortunate.... Mom told me that one. So, pick which one you want wisely." She said walking outside. What even was that? I want the damn fortune, don't I? That brat is playing mind games with me!
