Jess woke up thinking it was a nightmare but it wasn't. She saw her blood all over the floor and her clothes. She didn't feel the pain that she felt before. Jess looked up and saw Matt sitting there.

"Hmm....it did take a while for you to wake up!" Matt said.

"You stabbed me!" Jess said

"Yes I did captain obvious!" Matt replied.

"I'm alive!" Jess said.

"Yeah you are!" Matt said.

"That isn't possible I felt my heart stop!" Jess said.

"Wait! What are you yet doing in my house, get the hell out!" Jess said.

"I will but I have a question. You didn't die but can your brother die?" Matt asked.

Jess looked up in shock and she ran towards Dylan's room. She saw her brother sleeping and not dead. She was relieved but Matt was yet there.

"What's your problem can't you go annoy someone else and leave us alone!" Jess said.

"I could but it's not as fun as annoying you!" Matt said.

"Okay get the hell out of my house right now!" Jess said.

"Okay I'll leave but before I go I do want to give you an advice. What you saw there keep it to yourself, you never know what happens!" Matt said and he left.

*Phone rings*

"Hello?" Lydia answered.

"Hey Lydia I really got to talk to you can we meet?" Jess said.

"Yeah sure where do you want to meet?" Lydia asked.

"Could you come to my place?" Jess asked.

"Yeah I'll be right there!" Lydia said and cut the call.

~Time skip~

"What!" Lydia said in shock.

"Yeah I know it's like I rose from the dead!" Jess said.

"Wait you said that he told you not to tell anyone what you saw. What did you see?" Lydia asked.

"I saw.....I saw Ruby!" Jess said.

"Wait then why didn't you help her out?" Lydia asked.

"She was talking to the guards and doing some spell thing like voodoo!" Jess said.

"You mean she's.." Lydia said.

"Yeah I think she is behind everything that's going on!" Jess said.

"Okay but what about you coming back from the dead!" Lydia asked.

"I have no idea it's like I'm in a movie!" Jess said.

"Don't worry we will figure it out!" Lydia said.

"I hope" Jess replied.

*The next day*

"Dylan get up!" Jess screamed.

"Why do I have to get up!" Dylan asked.

"You have to go to school!" Jess said.

"Why?" Dylan asked.

"Because it's school, you know learning and all!" Jess said.

*Ding ding*

"I'll go get that while you get dressed!" Jess said.

Jess quickly went downstairs and opened the door. She saw Liam Theo and Lydia standing outside. Liam and Theo were holding two large bags full of groceries.

"Hi guys!" Jess said.

"Yeah we can great later where do we keep these!" Theo said.

"What are those?" Jess asked.

"Things you need!" Lydia said.

"Yeah could you please tell me where to keep them before our arms fall out!" Liam said.

"On the table!" Jess said.

"Thanks!" Jess said.

"No problem!" Lydia answered.

"So you going to get ready so we can go!" Lydia said.

"Um..yeah. I'll go get dressed!" Jess said.

*In school*

"Jess are you okay?" Lydia asked.

"My dad's dead, I died and came back to life and my step mom is the person who wants to kill me, I'm totally fine!" Jess said.

Jess and Lydia looked at the entrance as they saw Matt coming in.

"Oh no!" Jess said.

"And it could not get more worse!" Lydia said.

"Oh it can!" Dylan said.

"How?" Jess asked.

"I just saw the notice board. They are changing locker positions and yours is next to Matt's!" Dylan said.

"What!" Jess said.

"Good luck" Dylan said and went.

"This is going to be a long day!" Lydia said.

"The longest day ever!" Jess added.

*Back at Jess's house*

"Okay so I've arranged everything!" Liam said.

"We did it!" Theo said.

"No I did it while sat there and watched!" Liam said.

"Just let's go now!" Theo said.

"Yeah lets go!" Liam said.

"Hey wait could I ask you a question?" Theo said.

"Yeah sure!" Liam answered.

"When I got stuck under the building why did you scream my name?" Theo asked.

"No I didn't, why would I?" Liam said.

"I heard you clearly!" Theo said.

"You did not okay and u don't want to talk about this anymore!" Liam said.

"Were you worried about me?" Theo asked.

"No i wasn't let's go!" Liam said and walked quickly towards the car.

*In school*

Jess and Lydia went towards class. They both went and sat down. Matt came in and sat right next to Jess.

"Lydia he is sitting right next to me!" Jess whispered.

"Just ignore him!" Lydia answered.

*The teacher enters class*

"Okay people settle down!" Mr Dominic said.

"Okay we are going to start with solving quadratic equations!" Mr Dominic said.

~time skip~

*Bell rings*

"Okay people before you go I have a project for you guys!" Mr Dominic said.

"I'm going to pair you guys with partners and you have to come up with the history of maths and present it after ons week to the class!" Mr.Dominic said.

Mr Dominic tells people to choose their partner.

"Okay Matt choose your partner!" Mr Dominic said.

"I choose Jess!" Matt said.

"Wait what!" Jess replied.

"Okay Jess your with Matt on this project!" Mr Dominic said.

"No I dont-" Jess said but before she could finish Mr Dominic already left the class.

"Jess it's not going to be a long day, it's going to be a long week!" Lydia said.

"Yup!" Jess answered.
