Getting Away

I slowly open my eyes. They do there best to adjust to the bright lights. My ears manse to catcha beeping noise. I look to see a heart monitor. I'm guessing I'm in a hospital. Yet where? Thankfully none of those avenger people here. Why do it have to be me?! Why did my parents have to die, why did I have to get experimented on? Why did I have to meet the Avengers? Why did my idol have to. Destroyed?!?! So many questions raced through my head.

I jump when I hear the door open. Thankfully it was just the nurse but... I spoke to soon. Right behind her was the man known as Fury. "Thank you ms," he said as the nurse left. Oh dear, at the moment many things can happen. He could:

Kill me, scold me, thank me, and so forth.

"Kobe, what the hell were you thinking?," he said sitting down in the chair next to me. "Nothing, just wouldn't be right if I lived and one of those avengers died," I chuckled. "Good point," he said. "So what hospital am I in now?," I asked. "The hospital in Destiny, Spica platoon? Took me here and told me what happened," Nick said. I sighed.

"You know you really scared Steve, out of everyone here he actually gives a damn about you the most, cause he see's potential in you," he said. "No offense, it's amazing to hear that, but i'm 18 at the moment, I can take care of myself," I said getting outta the bed. I walked outta there and walked straight past Steve. "Kobe, Kobe where you going?," he said. I don't answer and jumped off the balcony, sneezed and took off. "Set a course for LA," I said. "Yes sir," Falcon said.

I walked to the driver's seat. I looked out the windshield to see something on the tracks. Falcon tries to avoid it, but it rose and exploded. The train shook,"AHEAD FULL," I said. "Yes sir, quickly sir," the system scared and rapidly replied.I then glanced out the left window to see a fighter jet. How much you wanna bet that'a Fury or Steve?

I herd the engine roar as it tried to gain speed. Come on come on you can do this falcon! My thoughts are interrupted when the fighter jet started firing and several other joined it. Ok, never mind, not Fury or Steve.

The train violently shook, I went to I to the warp panel, but as I did, it exploded sending shrapnel towards my eye. I blocked it and glass went into my hand. DAMMIT! "LOWER ORBIT SHIELDS, and fire at will," I said. "Yes sir," The system replied.

The orbit shields were lowered and I sat back to watch the action. Three blasts from the cannon car came out and destroyed three of the eight or nine ships on the right. I walked over to the destination Panel. We were about to enter Earth's atmosphere. The cannon cars fired yet some of the jets managed to doge the blasts. I brung the train up as we almost skinned the road. I did my best not to hit civilians. I took us upward and the jets followed. "DAMMIT WOULD YOU JUST GET OUTTA THE SKY ALREADY?!?!," I yelled.

I shot one more blast and took down the jets. I quickly landed on an unused part of a beach. I climbed down and checked for surrounding cameras, thankfully no cameras. I don't know why I was here, I just needed to get away.

Not to sound self centered, but I've taken in a lot for the last week. Meeting the avengers, saving shield, saving Thor, Steve and Sirius Platoon. I walked up some stairs and onto the busy streets. I found a little hotel on the waterfront and walked in. "Hello sir, how may I help you today?," said a women behind the counter. "Hi, uh yes, do you have any rooms open?," I asked. "I take it you don't have a reservation," she said, slightly faltering her smile.

"No I don't," I sighed. "Well we got one room open, room 312 on the 4th floor," she said handing me

My room key. "Thanks," I nodded. She smiled in reply and I headed to the elevator. I get in and a small family of a father and his two children also climb in. I hit the 4th floor button and they hit the 12th. Damn, that's pretty high up. I sighed as the elevator began
