The First Flower of Spring

Where?

KAMARU POV

I was in a deep sleep. I haven't slept so peacefully in so many years.

I was having a wonderful dream that all the beautiful women in the The Other World we're surrounding me and they were pouring me all the booze the entire universe has to offer. But that wonderful dream that felt like heaven was horridly interrupted by this annoying child.

"Can you stop?"

She freezes dead in her tracks and says

"Well, I'm sorry, you were snoring so loudly so I came to wake you up but you're just sooooo cute. I couldn't help myself"

'Cute?! Normally everyone is all types of tense around me, and this thing has the nerve to approach me without fear?! But it is kinda nice having someone so close without me being able to sense the fear in them.'

"How dare you wake me up for such trivial matters. I'm going back to sleep" I said with a pompous attitude.

"Hmpf! Fine then, goodnight but stop snoring or else I'll throw you out the window! I have to get ready to go to school in a few hours." She snapped back as she was walking towards her bed.

'What is this "school" thing she has to go to? How long will she be gone? Wait! It's not like I care or anything. I just wanna know if I have to stay here in this boring, childlike room all day. What if her family comes back home? Am I allowed to go with her? I would prefer not be around her because she's pretty annoying, but it's 10x better than staring at the walls and having her family come home and see me. Does she even have family? I haven't seen anyone else here, but I do smell the faint scent of other humans.'

With all that thinking I drifted back into the dream world.

7:09 am

"AAAAHHHHHHH I WOKE UP SO LATE! OMG!"

I was awakened by the sound terrible sound of this child.

'What now?'

I opened the closet door and looked at her with sleepy eyes as she was jumping on one leg trying to put her socks on.

"What a lovely way to wake someone up" I said sarcastically.

"I'm terribly sorry, but I am late fo- AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!! WHERE IS IS YOUR SHIRT????!! AND PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE PANTS ON!"

She was talking then she looked my way started yelling like a maniac. Then I looked down and realized I was half naked.

'Is she seriously getting all flustered just seeing me without a shirt?! My goodness! How innocent is she?!'

"I'm late for school so I need to get going. Dont misbehave while I'm gone."

"First of all, nobody tells me what to do, secondly, what is this school thing you keep talking about? Instead of you worrying about me misbehaving, I can just come with you."

'Yes! She's most definitely gonna take me now that I've said that!'

"No Kamaru you can't come."

'What?'

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want you to embarrass me! And plus you don't have a school uniform!"

'What? Me? Embarrass her? Pfft, I'm the guy that all the girls fawn over.'

"Getting a uniform is easy. Look"
