RIZA POV

I see none other than Nash!

"Well well well, look who we have here, if it isn't Riza."

"Look Nash, I'm not in the mood to start with your nonsense so if you would please jus-" I was cut off when he hit my tray out of my hand.

'Why? He could've done anything else but this. The money that my mom worked so hard to get and put into my lunch account, has just been wasted. Not only that but everyone's eyes are on me, they're laughing at me. Why? Why does this keep happening to me? I can't do this anymore..."

My body has frozen as I'm lost in my own thoughts.

"Hellooooo?! is anybody in there?" Nash says as he's examining me, but I pay him no mind because I'm too deep in my thoughts.

Nash raised his hand to poke my head but I was too broken down to have any type of reflexes so I was just gonna let him do it.

His hand was 1cm away, a millisecond was all it took for him to make contact, but he didn't.

I look up to see Kamaru right in front of me, holding Nash's arm tightly whilst giving him a death glare.

"And just who are you?" Nash asked looking at Kamaru up and down.

"Wait are you that guy from last Thursday? Wait no. You must be his brother!"

"And so what of it?" Kamaru spits back

"Hmpf" Nash rolled his eyes and walked away knowing that he had no chance of winning this.

"What the hell are you all staring at?" Kamaru yells at the crowd that has formed due to the commotion Nash caused.

The crowd began to shrink when the bell rang indicating that school is over as Kamaru turned around to face me.

"Let's go home" I said not daring to look up at him.

On our way home, I knew my family would be home so I have to come up with a reason as to why I have a have a friend come over so suddenly. I hit my head trying to think.

"What are you doing?" A voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Oh.....I........Uh..I was.. uhhh..."

"SPIT IT OUT ALREADY" Kamaru said angrily.

"Ahh I forgot to tell my family about you. Let me call my mom and tell her that we have a project to do."

I take out my phone and told my mother and she was okay with it. We finally arrive at my house and as we entered, we were greeted by the lovely smell of my mother's cooking.

"Welcome home" my mom says cheerfully as my brother and sister are watching tv.

"OMG he is so handsome! What's your name?" My mom said as she pushes me out the way to get a better view of Kamaru.

"My name is Kamaru" he said with a tiny smile.

"Okay mom me and Kamaru are gonna go work on the project now."

I dragged Kamaru up to my room as my mom was yelling "the food will be ready soon!"

I closed the door and sighed in relief. When I turned around I see Kwariza staring at me with a rather unsatisfied expression.

"Riza, you're so great! You managed to get me here, but where will I sleep? Have you thought about that?" He said as his eyebrows twitched.

'Oops'

"Sorry Kamaru I completely forgot about that" I said as I start pacing around the room trying to figure out an excuse as to why he should stay, because I know my mom won't let a stranger share the same roof as us, yet alone share the same room as me.

"Oh I know! How about I 'walk you home' and then when we're out you transform into a tiny little cute wolf and look sick and I'll convince my mom to let you stay!" I exclaimed.

"yeah, sure, whatever keeps me from sleeping on the streets I guess."

After telling my mom that we were done with our project and eating dinner, Kamaru said his goodbyes to my family and we headed out. After about a good five minutes of walking we heard footsteps walking, no, running up behind us.

Kamaru quickly turns around and out of nowhere a jet black katana appeared in his hand and reverts back to his original look. Just as I was about to yell at Kamaru for exposing himself, I looked to see who or what he was about to attack.

My eyes have never seen anything so sinister in my life. Before I could even get a sound out of my mouth Kamaru had slain the beast and it disappeared.
He didn't even break a sweat.

"Who did that vile creature think he is ? Attacking me like that ?" Kamaru said while looking back at me. He noticed the scared look upon my face and pulled me into a hug.

I was taken aback when he did this. I would've never expected him to hug me at all. Then he said "don't worry now, it's gone."

Right after that, he turned into a cute little white wolf, which made me almost forget about what just happened. I carried him back to my home as he stared acting sick when we reached the door.

I walked in and said "HEY GUYS!" I waited a few seconds before everyone came into the living room.

"guys, I found this poor little thing curled up on my way back from Kamaru's house, and when I tried to walk away it would whimper so I picked it up. And when I did it snuggled up to me. I think it's really sick."

"It's so cute! Can we keep him?!" My little brother said with excitement

"Hmm...let's give it some water and food for now and wait to see if it gets better. Meanwhile, he can stay in your room, since you found it Riza." My mother said.

'Yes!'

After feeding the little wolf, and the little wolf showing back affection through clinginess and licking, my mother sees that it's taken a liking to me and decides to let us keep it. I take him up to my room and shut the door.

"ahhh, I'm glad that's over with. Now you can drop the cute act Kamaru"
