(WARNING: Slightly Mature/Sexual; not too much though) (Honestly, one of the longest one-shots I've ever wrote)
The rest of the Crystal Gems and the two diamonds could only stand as white pearl bubbled Steven and went to White Diamond, they all feared for what would become of the little boy upon meeting the godly gem. It was silent, the rest of Homeworld no longer cheered as the sudden appearance of the damaged pearl spooked the whole audience.
Yellow Diamond sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of her nose. She closed her eyes as she felt a sudden headache appear, the appearance of white pearly truly put a lot of stress on her person.
"I need time for myself after this.." She muttered to herself, Blue Diamond glanced at her with concern-filled eyes. The bags under her eyes were deep and shaped her face, showing the emotional distraught she had felt for thousands of years.
It had only been a day or so since the two discovered that Rose Quartz was actually Pink Diamond, and that the young boy was her son. Of course, this created an immense headache for both diamonds of the surprising information revealed.
"What do you think White Diamond is doing with Steven?" Pearl asked to the group, her brows furrowed in worry. She couldn't bare to think how her little boy must've felt in approaching the godly gem.
Yellow Diamond looked down at the rebellious gem, who happened to be Pink Diamond's pearl. She sighed softly and raised her hand, waving it. "Rest assure, Pink Di- I mean, Steven, will be fine."
"White is... Complicated.." Blue explained, to be honest, she wasn't sure if Steven truly was safe in the presence of White Diamond. As seen with her relationship with her pearl, and how physical and emotionally damaged the pearl seemed to be. "Her anger... Is not one to face off, with how Homeworld is right now."
"Still so.." Yellow interceded, crossing her arms. "White believes him to be Pink, which could possibly be enough to assure that he won't be in harm by White Diamond or any of her subjects."
"But aren't you angry with Pink starting the wars?" Garnet asked, in which Pearl glanced at her with alarm in her eyes.
Blue and Yellow glanced at one another, both harboring mixed feelings about the revealed secret.
"It is.. A major surprise for Homeworld and us diamonds." Blue began to reply, she tried to find words to describe just how she felt. "Everyone is sure to have mixed feelings about this whole situation, but I for one, am somewhat relieved to be able to find the truth."
Blue turned to Yellow, prompting her to answer as well. "W-Well, I am also.. Surprised.." Yellow continued, looking off to the side with a odd look in her eyes. "I'm angry.. To say the least, about Pink causing this whole war. But, I'm more confused than angry, but I harbor no negative feelings for your Steven."
"And what about White Diamond?" Garnet asked once more, fists gripping hard. "What does White feel about this."
The two stayed silent, their minds brought back to the appearance of white pearl instead.
"White isn't one to show expressive or intensive emotions, much like her pearl." Blue began to explain, she looked down. "She is.. Emotionally distant, which has allowed her to be more powerfully than us diamonds combined."
"If anything again." Yellow turned to Blue, shifting her weight. "White only believes him to be Pink and nothing more, nothing less. When I last spoke to her... She viewed the whole war as a little scare, a little game under her feet."
Yellow looked away, sighing heavily. "To be honest, I'm not completely sure how White will react to this."
And with that, the whole group could only stand and watch in worry as they hoped for Steven's safety in the presence of White Diamond.
