The streets of New York always seemed a little quiet when midnight struck, most were back in their own homes and sleeping the night off. Still so, cars buzzed through the streetways and highways.

As the saying goes when you go to New York, the city never sleeps.

The skyscrapers lit up like the stars, lighting up the night for those that never sleep and keep on forward. Just as the Avengers tower was also lit up, the tower the signified hope or destruction to all.

One lone woman roamed the vacant streets far from the Avengers tower, her vibrant red hair shined against the dark night as the streetlights rain over her. Cladded in a nearly black suit with thin purple stripes, a long and back cigarette holder held between her lips. She held a lengthy black case in her hand, the other in her pocket. She featured a black iconic fedora on her head that popped out the bright red that was her long and wavy hair.

She walked through the lone sidewalk, passing old buildings and inching closer to the big consumer area, Time Square.

Entering Time Square, she stopped and looked at the large and colorful buildings in front of her.

She smirked, her slightly red lips popped against her lightly freckled skin.

Taking a deep and confident breath, she walked through the large crowds. Immediately, several people in the crowds turned to her and their eyes widened in familiarity. She bowed her fedora to them, giving some of the women charming smiles that made them swoon.

Settling herself a couple yards away from another street performer, she nodded to him before dropping her case and opening it up to reveal a sleek black and gold saxophone. Picking it up and swaying over the black strap over her shoulder, she licked her lips and placed a small radio recorder and turned it on to reveal a soft guitar solo.

Seeing a couple of people crowd around her area, she flashed them her signature charming smile before starting off the song with a equally soft tune that quickly enchanted people to her.

She closed her eyes for the first couple of seconds of the song, letting the song take over before she opened her eyes and scanned the growing crowd.

None gave her money, for they knew that she accepted nothing but their applause.

It was then when she noticed a feminine figure walk through her coming crowd, her electric blue eyes met green and the street performer felt her heart skip at the sight of her. The figure had shoulder-length red hair that was more brighter than her own, she wore a black blouse and pants with a light brown leather jacket over her shirt, none the less she looked rather average and in place.

The woman looked nothing more than an average citizen, but all of it and more caught the saxophonist's eyes. As the woman walked away, she knew she couldn't run after her as she had a crowd to command and woo over. So, with a couple of more songs, she eventually finished off and scattered the crowd.

She would've placed her beloved black and golden instrument back into the case had it not been her one idea to try and woo the girl that crowded her mind now, scanning the disappearing crowd as they eventually trailed their way back home to sleep the night off.

She was able to locate the fleeing woman, who paid no attention to her as she seemed to be looking for someone. With a small glance to the side, she was able to see her face once more.

She looked incredibly stern and serious, her eyes scanned the surrounding areas with determination and secrets hidden within.

That alone should've screamed 'DANGER' to her , but she had faced danger straight in his eyes before, this was nothing. But she remained cautious as well, she didn't want to lose the woman immediately.
