(Some supernatural, fantasy stuff I thought of. Don't really know, I wrote this many months ago.)
It was around noon, the green forest besides a large cliff was silent. The soft wind rustling the leaves echoed in the thick forest, with sounds of small chirping the background. All was soft and peaceful in Alaska, and Tanya was a witness of that.
The ancient vampire laid against a large rock, her eyes closed and ears alert for the soft sounds of the many woodland creatures that crept around her. She enjoyed these moments when she could be alone without her coven behind her, where her 'cousins' wouldn't be here to annoy her once more as they did every single time they visited Alaska. She let out a soft sigh, turning to the side and looked at the large, calm lake in front of her. Only several does stood to drink the fresh water that the lake provided, ignoring the fact that an animal-drinking vampire stood near them. Fortunately for them, Tanya wasn't hungry at the moment and wouldn't dare disturb the quietness that was rare in the forest, considering how many times she and her coven ravaged the forest of its creatures.
Just before Tanya could even stand up to go back to her house, a large shadow went over her and the sudden gush of wind threw her off. She looked up, only seeing a glimpse of a winged figure land on the other side of the large lake before walking through the forest and disappearing.
Curiosity got the better of her and Tanya began running around the lake to get to the winged creature, hoping to find out what it was. Looking around for the scent of the figure, she caught on the scent of Smoky woods and Shimmering minerals. It was such a unique and weird scent, but it was peaceful at the same time.
Following the scent, Tanya came across a large cave that had several small sculptures of winged creatures. With narrowed eyes in confusion, the ancient vampire slowly crept inside the cave. Hearing some grumbles, Tanya slowed in her footsteps. Still walking forwards, Tanya came onto the large sleeping figure.
She stifled her gasp, silently observing the scaly creature. The figure was nearly as large as her own house, or ever larger if she was perfectly correct. Her heighted eyes could see the shiny scales that covered the beast, tinted nearly black, but was purple in the faint light. Tanya wanted to step closer, but just as she did, she forgot that there laid a small twig beneath her feet. And with one step, the twig snapped in half and the beast before here twitched.
Denaunvesh was sleeping soundly, just before her large meal of a whale. Just then, a small snap of a twig suddenly woke her up. Her eyes quickly opened up in a split-second and she raised her head up high to face whomever made a noise in her cave. She faced a small, curvy figure with bright amber eyes that glowed in the dark, just like her owns did.
Her ability to see in the dark made her very aware of the features of the woman, her wavy, blonde hair to her very pale skin. It was obvious that she was a fellow vampire, and one of those 'vegetarians' too. She growled softly, though loud enough to be echoed throughout the extremely large cave.
"Who are you to step into my domain? Rotmindol Sosnaak." She growled out, her glowing purple eyes stared into Tanya's own. The said vampire felt shivers down her spine, it was now clear that the beast was the mythical dragon she has heard of from many others back in her time. The dragon was beyond beautiful, but Tanya knew not to cross over the beast.
"Well?" Denaunvesh demanded softly, her head was held up high and her eyes looked down at the vampire whom she knew herself could just eat in mere seconds.
"I-I didn't mean to disturb you." Tanya stuttered, from the immense beauty of the dragon to just how threatening the dragon sounded, she wasn't really in a good position at the moment. "I was merely curious to know of the scent you left behind, so I followed."
