Chapter 3: Confrontation

"So you're telling me that a car almost hit you, like did they even bother to stop?" Adele stared at me in shock stuffing her face with pizza shortly after. "Yep! No they stop after, but then the driver yelled at me to get out of the road" I took a sip of my drink and grabbed another slice.           "Wow that's insane did they run a red light or something?"                                                                               "Well about that..... I guess I was kind of J-walking, BUT still they shouldn't have been going that fast" Adele stared at me and rolled her eyes laughing. I went to take another bite of my pizza but stopped mid bite.

"Who closes a dinner at night?"                                                                                                                                       "Dean just shut up okay, there is nothing we can do about it. Somethings shut down okay?"   "Fine but I still don't get why we have to go here out of all of the places" The tall one stopped  and looked at me quickly turning around, turning the other one with him, I could tell he was whispering something to him. I quickly look back down at my pizza I could tell this was about to be very awkward. "Hey Molly whats wrong who are  those guys?" Adele says glancing at them then back at me she looked concerned. "Those are the guys that almost hit me. What a strange coincidence they came here." Adele looked at me in shock. "No way those are the guys, you need to say something to them." I look at her quickly shaking my head no. "Adele I don't think you need to make a big scene about thi-"                                                                                                         "Hey you guys, yeah you, You almost hit my friend over here I think you guys owe her an apology" Adele glared at them and the tall one stared at her in shock, then looked back at me. "Look maybe if your friend walked where she is supposed-"                                                                            "Dean I don't think you should be causing fights with-"                                                                                      "Shut up Sammy I can handle this, if your little friend walked where she was supposed to walk there wouldn't have been any problems okay, so we don't have to apologize for her mistakes, come on Sammy lets go" the guy grabbed the pizza throwing money on the counter then stormed out. Adele and I stared at the tall one in shock, still processing what just happened.

I could tell that the tall one was still trying to figure out what to do because he stared at us for a few minutes before he began to talk. "Hey look I'm sorry about my brother, its been a rough day and we didn't mean to cause you any harm. I'm really sorry about earlier we didn't mean to almost hit you. My name is Sam by the way if you didn't catch that earlier" Sam gave us an awkward smile and scratched the back of his head. Sam hmm where have I heard that name before. "Its alright umm Sam, I should have watched where I was going anyway." I gave him an awkward smile back and took a sip of my drink, watching him as he walked away. "Oh umm one more thing can you tell me where a near by motel is?" Sam said turning back, I could see the other one getting aggravated in the car. "There is one just down the road and to the left, it's probably one of the better ones in this town." Adele managed to answer before I could, which I didn't mind. I was still trying to figure out where I have heard that name before. Sam said thank you and left, I watch them as the quickly sped off to the motel. "Sam was hot wasn't he" I looked at Adele and laughed rolling  my eyes at her. Why did they seem so familiar like I've met them somewhere before...
