CLAIRE

Someone was repeatedly slapping my cheeks, making me groan in frustration and roll over.

"Go away, Chris. I was having the best dream about Five Seconds of Summer." I mumbled, waving him away sleepily.

"Get up, we have school today in case you've forgotten."

"Damn, I forgot about school. I thought it was Friday yesterday?" I sat up in bed and yawned, rubbing any last remnants of sleep out of my eyes.

"No, you idiot, today's Friday. Now hurry up and get ready; you have 15 minutes before the bus gets here," Chris smirked, glancing at the clock on the wall.

"You jerk! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I gasped, throwing my pillow at him. He laughed and ducked, quickly leaving the room.

I groaned to myself about how annoying brothers were while choosing my favorite outfit from my closet.

(a/n: claire's outfit in the external link woot woot)

I brushed my teeth as fast as I could and washed my face gently. Sighing, I quickly put on the clothes I'd chosen and began to tame my wild blond hair with a straightener. A few minutes later, I rushed downstairs to find my mother and Chris sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast.

"Good morning, honey," my mother murmured without looking up from her newspaper.

"Morning mum," I said, grabbing a slice of toast and glaring at Chris. He glanced at Mum to make sure she wasn't looking, then stuck his middle finger up at me.

"I saw that, Chris. Don't be so rude to your sister," she scolded, although she was smiling faintly.

We rolled our eyes playfully in unison and grinned (it was kind of our 'twin thing'). I finished off my slice of toast and grabbed the keys to my and Chris's shared car, tossing them to Chris.

I smirked. "Just for that, you're driving today."

"Fine. Let's go then." He muttered, standing up and chugging his glass of juice.

** AT SCHOOL **

"We've got about ten minutes before the first bell rings. I'm gonna go find Bree, okay? See you later." I said, giving my brother a fist bump before walking off in search of Bree.

Luckily, I didn't have to walk far. She found me before I got to her.

"Claire! I've been looking for you. I got us smoothies cause I'm the best friend ever and oh my god, I love your shirt! It looks just like Calum's!" She squealed without stopping to take a breath. I smiled.

"Good morning to you too, miss perky," I said, taking a long sip of my smoothie. "And do you really think so? About my shirt? Because I've been looking for a shirt like his since forever."

I remembered the conversation I'd had with my mom about this shirt. It went something like this:

Me: Mom, can I buy this Nasa shirt?

Mom: Why?

Me: Because Calum has one.

Mom: ...

Me: ...

Mom: So if Calum jumped off a brid--

Me: Yes.

Mom: *sighed, but ended up buying me the shirt anyway*

Bree laughed. "Of course, silly. And yes, stalking our favorite band members' clothes over the internet is one of the many hardships of being a fangirl. Ugh, the bell's gonna ring soon; we better go."
