There had always been fear between the two kingdoms, fear of the other species that resigned in the neighbouring kingdom. Stories of large beasts with glowing eyes of fire and fangs as sharp as daggers, stealing naughty children from their beds and feasting on campers who weren't careful. Stories of men like themselves that wore clothes of steel and carried longs claws of bone-cutting iron, throwing stones covered in raging flames at anyone who dared entered their kingdom and locking naughty pups in cold cages with collars made of thick silver enclosed around their necks.
Although there was fear, there was peace.
That's was until that one night when vengeful criminals of the human kingdom killed a family that owned them money. Having the 'brilliant' idea of making the terrible crime look like a horrible murder committed by wolves. Not knowing that the butterfly effect of their actions had resulted in the king's men stealing the wolf king's three year old omega pup.
