I don't wait anymore for him. I know he will come here Sundays at 20.45. And Only at that time..it helped me from getting so disappoint when not seeing him walking through that door.
This day, I want to ask him more questions. And I so wonder what he is doing in the restroom. Because he is sure not going there for the usual things every Sunday same hour. He has to be doing something.. Mysterious, as the man he is.
He comes to sit at my station right in front of me, and now he does show off his beautiful brown eyes a bit. How magical they look. "Hello" he says in his angelic voice, making me weak to my knees. "Hello there.. Again" I smirk.
"Can you tell me, what you're doing here every Sunday, same time?" I say before he is going to speak. He chuckles, as if what I said was stupid.
"I already told you, I can't.. Yet. It's dangerous"
"I love dangerous" I reply, spontanious.
"Can I have my drink?"
"Not until you speak"
"Well.. I won't speak until I get it .I guess we have a dilemma here" He smirks this time. I give in and hand him a cold beer. He takes a sip of his drink, and I just stand here behind the counter watching him. When he is done with the sip I look him straight into his eyes.
"Tell me it now"
"No"
"But you said you should!"
"I lied" he smiles.
"Come on Mr...?."
"Jackson, Michael Jackson and you?"
"Melissa, EY! Don't try to change the subject"
"I am not, just trying to get to know you"
"Why?"
He starts to chuckle at me again. And I can't help but do the same. I can admit I must sound so awfully strange asking him so much. But this man is straight forward, a huge question!
"I want to because you seem very sweet, and if you want to know my secret, I need to trust you"
"I see, it is THAT serious, well then, okay, let's get to know each other!"
And so we do. But I still have a feeling he isn't telling the truth. His life sounds so "Easy" yet he appears so difficult.
Suddenly he gets up rushing to the restroom. I run after, and catch the door right before it closes. Then I hear his voice, talking to someone. I can't get much but what I hear; "No, it's clear.. Just do as always, they won't get us.."
Who is "They" and who is "Us"? I swallow hard, then I walk away from the door when he comes out. He gets surprised by seeing me. "What did you hear?"
"Nothing! I swear!" I say in self defense
He sighs. "Look. there are someone after me and my family. I am only here at this bar this time of day because I hide ok?"
"Why are someone after you? And who?"
"I can't tell you yet. I don't want you involved in this"
"I already feel involved.."
"How come?"
"Because of you" I say.. We look at each other for a couple of seconds when he takes off his hat, revealing his true face. Wow. What a beauty. That caramel skin tone, and those loose jet black curls. And his eyes.. Oh his eyes, I see them so much clearly now. Lips... So smooth, I want to kiss them. Knowing that if I would, it would be a dangerous kiss.
Without any warning he pushes me up against the wall, making me loose all control over myself. He then presses those lips onto mine and I feel my hands up in between his curls. His hands moves their way down to my waist with a tight grip.
Then he loosen the grip on me and walk away without saying anything. Leaving me speechless, I feel myself in a complete different world. A dangerous world, and I want to be a part of it. With him. Oh, how he made me feel!
