What is This?

"Y/n, can you go get the mail?" Larry asked
"Sure."
"Thanks."
"Mhm." I went out of out apartment, grabbed a quick snack from the vending machine, and went up the elevator to floor one. I got up to floor one then I knocked one Mr. Addison's door.
"Hello, Mr. Addison." I smiled.
"Hello, Y/n. Would you like some tea??"
"No thank you, i'm not much of a tea person."
"Oh, Alright then. So what did you come here for?"
"Just wanted to say 'Hi.'"
"Well thank you, I must go, I have some paperwork to fill out."
"Oh, okay." I smiled. I then began walking towards the entrance/exit doors. I scanned the mailboxes and grabbed the mail. I turned around and saw a boy with a mask and blue hair, and about the same height as me.
"H-hi." I said nervously.
"Hey, you must be Y/n."
"Yea, thats me. You must be either Sal or Todd?"
"I'm Sal. It's nice to meet you, Y/n."
I giggled and smiled, "Nice to meet you too."
"So, uhh... You're living with Larry and Lisa now??"
"Yea." I smiled, "It's a blast -- i'm loving it!"
"I'm glad too hear. Larry is my best friend too."
"He is?? How come I haven't meet you yet then??"
"Well, everytime I go down there you're not there then the fact that i'm on a ghost hunting mission."
"Ooo! Sounds fun." I smiled,"Maybe one day i'll join you and Larry!!"
"Sounds cool."
"See ya." I said while sal said, "Bye."
I started to feel awkward because we walked off to the elevator together, went down to the basement together, and went into Larry and Lisa's appartment together. "I guess there really wasn't any need for a good bye huh, Sal."
"Yea."
