High School has quite some history for a group that debuted recently. In 2017, Richworld Entertainment introduced their four-member girl group produced by singer Rich. They made their first appearance through mysterious teasers uploaded to the company's Youtube channel, never showing their faces. Rich later said that he wishes people would see their talent and their ability to create their own style since that is what matters. He also said the girls wouldn't be showing their faces until their debut, which was scheduled to happen in the second half of 2018, rumored to be October.
But Richworld seemed to have changed their plans and announced that due to to the love and support they had been getting from all over the world the girls would be releasing solo songs ahead of their debut.
Which was then changed to releasing two group pre-debut songs. On the 20th of March, the 'first' pre-debut song 'High Class' (named after the fandom) was released. In the description box, Richworld stated they had already prepared over 10 songs for High School and that they were planning full-fledged activities in 2019 (and that it was undecided when the girls would be showing their faces). They also said the official debut would be in May (they previously revealed they would be releasing their second pre-debut 'Baby You're Mine' in April and that in the same month they would release the debut song, but didn't release an exact date or the song title).
Then April came around and Richmond started teasing their debut. On the 30th of April, they released their debut 'Baby You're Mine'. A lot of people still think this song is their pre-debut since Rich World never said anything about changing their plans ahead of debut. They only really confirmed this is their debut in the description box of the music video: "While the first album 'High Class' is an event album dedicated to the fandom, 'Baby You're Mine' is the official debut album."
One thing I think is noteworthy is that High School helped produce and write both of these songs.
