Chapter 44

Scene: At the cube house, 5 hours later.

"I call dibs on having the first shower!" I sprung straight out of the lounge.

"Hey! I was going to say that!" Parker yelled crossing his arms as I walked into my room. I got my pyjamas and my fluffy ugg boots which classified me still as an Australian. As I got into the bathroom I first took off my socks and let my feet touch the freezing tiles. I jumped around trying to get my jeans off before getting into the warm shower while it lasted.

"You nearly done?" I heard somebody bang in the door. I was only drying myself at the time.

"Not yet." I yell back wiping my forehead.

"Oh. Who is in there?" I heard the voice get louder.

"Sy?" I say back scrunching my face. I continued to get dressed into my T-shirt and boxer-like shorts.

"Sy who?" The voice becomes an Australian accent.

"I'm Graser's friend." I say grabbing all my stuff to leave the bathroom. I vigorously open the door to see a certain Bee.

"Oh. You're his 'friend'." Bee quotes with her fingers. I chuckle a bit along with Bee.

"Yes... I'm sorry for keeping you from using the bathroom. It's all yours now." I turn around to show her the clean and tidy room.

"Thanks. I'll talk to you later then." She walks in and slowly closes the door with all her clothes in her hand.

I walked into my room and placed my towel on the windowsill to dry and then walked back out to the lounge room. Graser came straight up to me invading my personal space and whispered.

"I like your slippers... They're cool." He chuckled.

"Well, I like your..." I look around him to see what I could say.

"Self advertising T'shirt." I laughed looking at the Do You Love Me Today shirt he borrowed from Parker. Graser started laughing along with me.

"Well do you?" Graser lifted his eyebrows after containing his laughter.

"I already told you... I don't believe in love." I whispered seriously so nobody else could hear. Graser pouted sadly.

"Well I don't love you today either." He smiled jokingly. I wasn't sure how to react so I started to sing a song that was stuck in my head.

"It's all about you..." I said in a singsongy tune. Graser looked at me confusingly.

"Huh?" He said scrunching his face.

"Yesterday, you asked me something I thought you knew..." I continued to sing grabbing Graser's hands. His face lightened up a bit.

"So I told you with a smile, it's all about you..." I smiled hopelessly. Graser smiled back and started moving his hands with me.

"Then you whispered in my ear..." I giggle.

"And you told me too..." I sing back to him.

"You said you make my life worthwhile, it's all about you..." Bayani came over and sang to Graser. I was surprised he knew the song.

"And I would answer all your wishes, if you'd ask me to..." Bayani and I sang together.

"But if you deny me one of your kisses..." I kissed Graser quickly on the cheek.

"Don't know what I'd do?" Bayani and sang together gleefully.

We continued to sing the song to Graser which he seemed to enjoy the whole time.

"You watch British YouTubers?"Bayani lifted his face looking surprised.

"Sometimes... But I listened to Mcfly." I said shrugging my shoulders.

Bayani looked at me impressively and strolled away.

"You should sing more often... With your wonderful voice it's hard to not listen..."

I giggled helplessly.

"Thankyou Zack."I give Graser a big hug.
