Chapter 15

Scene: Graser and Sy going to Sy's apartment.

"What about #Gryffindor?" Graser looks at me with a smirk.
"Eh, it's a bit unrealistic." I say with a cheeky smile.
Graser and I laugh softly together. We both walk out of the joint into the cold, crisp air. I look towards Graser and look at him seriously. He smiles back.

We finally reach my apartment door and walk into the living area. We both collapse on the couch and take a breather. I wanted to start this... I needed sleep!
"So what's the plan?" I ask looking enthusiastic.
Graser sighs and takes a huge breath.
"I'm so nervous. A part of me wants to show my face but the rest of me doesn't." Graser said looking scared.
"Well, in my opinion, it's best to do it now just before Pax Prime." I say with a gentle smile. He studies my face and looks to my eyes.
"I agree." He says not sounding so happy.
"You should do something different for your face reveal! Everyone always just turns the camera on and says, 'This is my face...', it would be cool if you changed it up a bit."
He nods at me and smiles. I am thinking of ideas (which I think I'm pretty good at).
Then I thought of it!
"What if you started it off like a normal person but instead it would be me doing the stuff in front of the camera and you talking. People would be so confused and start to wonder why there is a girl doing your face reveal. Then you could pretend to come push me out of the way and take over!" I said excitedly.
He looked at me with a blank expression. I'm guessing it took a while for him to sink it all in. 😆
"That's genius!" He said sounding and looking amazed.
"Let's start right away!"

I sat in front of the camera and tried my hardest to look like a YouTuber.
"Well hello everyone, and welcome to my face reveal. I have been holding this off for crazy long time and it was the perfect time just before..." Then Graser came into the shot and pretended to push me off my chair. He sat down and started talking. I quickly snuck to behind the camera and became the camera man. Aaannnddd, being Graser, he messed up! We had to redo it about 19 times. 😶

"Oh my god, I've never been so scared in my life!" Graser said with a big exhale.
"You have a lot of editing to do now. You have to dub your voice over my recording." I say sounding like a checklist. Graser looks worried.
"I know I sound like a little kid but..." Graser says looking terrified and ghostly.
I nod him on to keep talking.
"What is they don't like me?" He said sounding exactly like a child on their first day of school. I smile towards him and put my hand on his shoulder.
"What's not to like?"
He smiles and pulls me into a hug.
"Thank you for helping. This made me feel safer to do it with a friend." Graser whispered.
"Nah, don't worry about it!" I say NOT whispering.
We both let go and smile.
