Heyyo!!!! I hope everyone is doing well!

I've finally decided to give this a shot. Before I get to it, I would like to give a huge thank you to @imshookasff  half of the plot comes from the help of this LEGEND! I bloody love you!

Just a little heads up, there will be a few tweaks here and there relating to family members and all.  Also, Jade and Leigh are single, so there isn't any Jed or Andre.

*NOT PROOFREAD***

Enjoy!!

Leigh's POV-

"LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!"

Cheered an obnoxiously drunk Jesy popping open yet another bottle of champagne. The girls and I were celebrating the release of LM5, and let's just say Jesy enjoyed a couple of partying festivities ahead of time. Perrie, who was no more sober than Jesy, poured herself and Jesy another drink.

I looked around noticing a presence was missing in the herd.

Jade.

Just thinking about her made my heart flutter. We were always close, and lately we've drifted closer and closer together. Her smile. Her beautiful eyes. Her caressing arms that held me almost instinctively. The effect she had on me was almost...ethereal.

But lately, I've noticed things haven't been the same. She seems lost. Lost in a world she won't let anyone into. Not even me.

I looked around till my gaze finally fell upon the missing figure.

Jade stood a little farther off to the side, with a drink in her hand. As our eyes met, I grew more concerned. There was something written, something left unsaid shining in her eyes. It was almost a look of longing. We held onto each other's gaze till Jade abruptly broke it, and turned to walk out to the back porch.

I followed out after Jade. Jesy and Perrie were chatting about some whatnot, so they didn't seem to notice.

I walked out to see Jade looking up at the stars. It definitely was a peaceful night, but it was hard to enjoy seeing the somber look on Jade's face.

"It's a beautiful night." said Jade almost instantly sensing my presence. But not once did she break her gaze from up at the stars.

"It truly is." I said walking up to join Jade by her side.

I noticed how Jade didn't move any closer to me. No arm reached out this time to pull me closer. No contact whatsoever.

"My grandfather used to tell me that every star is like a person, they shine with their own purpose."

I saw as Jade smiled slightly at the memory. Jade didn't talk much of her family,  so moments like this were rare.

"Maybe one day i'll find my purpose as well. I just seem to screw everything up."

I frowned at her words. Jade always had the tendency to never see her self worth. She always went out of her way to make us feel special, yet she refused to see how much she meant to us all.

"Jade, look at me..."

I brought my hand up to her face, getting her to look at me.

"You haven't messed anything up. You-"

"You don't know that! Everything is so much more worse than it is!" Jade yelled, taking me a little by surprise. What was she talking about?

Jade seemed to realize what she did, and immediately cupped my face.
