"I think it's kind of funny
You could say you love me
Turn around and play me, yeah
I think it's kind of funny
You say things you don't mean
Underestimate me, yeah
I have always done right by you
Said you're never going to lie, liar
Shit gon' come around full cycle
I flip the script on you
Tell me why you mad
Tell me why you're hurt
Bet you didn't think that the tables would turn
You gon' fuck around
I'ma do the same
How you like that karma
How you like that karma
Yeah, that's just fairplay"

"Oooh, I want the yellow ones." Chas pointed out the pack of peanut M&Ms in the vending machine. I pressed the option for them and let her bend down to pick them up.
"That's it, Chas. We have enough snacks." I took her free hand and led her back over to the table. I could feel eyes on me and as soon as we sat down at the table I scanned the room. My eyes immediately landed on one of the guards monitoring the room. She's decent looking, so I'm guessing she could be the one Chance was messing around with. She smiled at me and winked which confirmed my accusation. I smiled back at her while zoning in on her name badge. Fuentes. Bet.
"Here comes Daddy!" Chas exclaimed while sliding off her seat to run to him. He picked her up and placed a few kisses on her face causing her to break into a fit of giggles. I couldn't help but be irritated by his presence. It has a lot to do with identifying one of his prison yard hoes. He took his seat at the table and had the nerve to give me a nasty look.
"What's got your standard issued boxer briefs in a bunch?" I'm attempting to mask my irritation with humor, but he didn't even crack a smile.
"We need to talk."
"That's the whole point of these visits, Chance." I smirked when I noticed my nonchalant attitude was getting on his nerves.
"Do I look like I'm fucking joking with you, Kadence?" His voice slightly raised and at that point I could no longer mask my irritation. Chasity looked up from her fruit snacks and popped Chance in his mouth.
"That's a bad word, Daddy!"
"Right. Watch your mouth when you're speaking to me. I am not Officer Fuentes." The look on his face softened for a slight second before he was back to looking like I ruined his life.
"And I'm not Ink." Oh, so that's what his attitude is about. I let out a light chuckle while reaching over to grab on of the fruit snacks from Chasity.
"You definitely aren't." I smirked to get under his skin. He's forgetting that I'm not the one stuck in here. Him trying to upset me is not wise on his end. "If you have something to address then say it. You sitting here mugging me is only making me want to cut this visit short."
"Why am I being sent pictures of you out on dates with another man?"
"I don't know. You shouldn't be receiving pictures of me out and about as it is." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He can be frustrated all he wants, but until he stops beating around the bush I'm not addressing anything.
"How long have you been seeing him?"
"I'm not seeing anyone. Ink and I are friends." It's the honest truth. Sure, I sometimes feel things towards him that I shouldn't, but in the past three months that we've been hanging out we've managed not to cross that line.
"Does he know you're married?" I rolled my eyes and held up my hand with my wedding ring on it.
"Everyone knows we're married. I have your last name. Next question."
