Son of Chaos (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 1: Betrayed

{A/N; if you are reading this please note that this is my first fanfiction and i know there are many chaos percy jackson fanfictions but i wanted to try it out myself thank you}

18 years later

Chapter 1:

Percy's POV:

"You can't catch me!" I yell out to my girlfriend Annabeth as she chases my across half-blood hill.

"You're not getting away from me seaweed brain!" Annabeth yells back trying to hold back her laughter.

She was the love of my life after 6 years with her she still reminds me of the girl that told me I drool in my sleep, but now she had matured the beautiful woman I saw behind me, trying to catch up to me and tackled me into submission. How romantic.

I stumbled as I raced through the camp entrance and tripped over one stray rock leaving me puffed and drained of energy on the floor, and in a few seconds the lovely lady herself pouncing on me crushing me as she hugged and kissed me while we both roll around laughing our heads of. Surely someone would walk by and see two hysterical teens kissing and hugging as strange , but it was past curfew at camp-half blood and everyone was fast asleep leaving me with my wonderful girlfriend staring at the night sky.

"You didn't think you could get away from me kelp head" a massive grin plastered her face as she said those truly touching words (note the sarcasm) I could only sigh.

"It's getting late we better go to sleep" I say and we get up creeping towards out cabins, with one more kiss goodbye I raced over to my cabin door walked in and lay in my bed not bothering to change out of my mud stained cloths, I felt too giddy to do anything. As I fall into darkness I could only picture her blond hair and those sparkling grey eyes as I fell into exhaustion and fall fast asleep.

The next day I change into suitable cloths (meaning not dirty) and tie my camp necklace around my neck, then filing out of my cabin only to find a hoard of campers staring at me with disgusted and angry looks.

All I heard was "Theirs the traitor" and "How could you do this" and other accusations that I had no idea of, confusion spread through me and I cautiously stepped forwards

"What in hades is everyone going on about and what do you mean by traitor?" I ask with a slight annoyance added for effect.

They all just gave me stares that surely would not belong to the happy go lucky campers I saw yesterday singing songs and laughing, these were defiantly not the ones these were full of hatred and betrayal. I scan the crowd and too my horror all my friends stared at me with the same glare as everyone but sadness was added to them.

Jason came up in front of the crowd along with pier clinging onto his arm "you know what you did, you betrayed us!" he screamed at me all I could reply was a even more confused look.

"I honestly have no idea what you are talking about" I yell back "I swear on the riv......."

But before I could finish a girl stepped out of the crowed, she scowled at me with those grey eyes just like the others. Her curly blond hair put into a pony tail so I could see her whole face but I wish I could not.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence or I will gut you like a fish!" she screamed filling her voice with the upmost of hate and disgust. I could only stare at her

"You ratted us out Gaia and kronos and the titans, you told them our most kept secrets!" She finished off but all I could do was laugh I don't know why but I just did they have got to have been kidding I would never do that.

"Are you serious my fatal flaw is loyalty" I managed to say after my fit of laughter but no one joined me and a pang of seriousness washed over me as I realised they were serious.

Frank joined in and yelled "Don't laugh!" I had no words, what happened my friends they believed in lies.

Annabeth stepped up I thought she was just going to yell "you have been pranked sucker" but no such luck instead I got a slap to the face and a kick in the groin. That's going to leave a mark. I thought it was over until all the campers charged at me and started pounding me into unconsciousness the last thing I saw was Chiron nodding in approval until everything went black.

I woke up in a startle in the camp infirmary I believed what I just witnessed was just a dream maybe I hit my head on a rock during training, but it felt so real and sadly it was.

I walk out of the infirmary, it seems that no one tended to my wounds leaving me with bruises and cuts all over. I made my way towards my cabin only to be glared at with hate as I made my way a few snickers escaped the crowd as I got closer only to be confronted with a sign on my door that read Dear traitor, you have been relocated to the woods where you belong you will no longer talk to anyone or join in any camp activities you are dead to us.

Tears stung my eyes, my friends hated me and I did nothing. I went to grab my stuff from the cabin but all I saw was the smashed photos of me and my friend with my head starched out and most of my stuff raided. I then broke down too upset to be mad I pulled myself up and grabbed the remaining stuff I had lying around and left for the woods nearby if they don't want me then I will go.

All I could think was why and who did this to me they will pay but as I reached the edge of the woods there were screams of a boy running over half-blood hill as a minotaur chases him and that's when my instincts kicked in.
