Chapter 7: A place to call home

Chaos P.O.V:

I had my son back the amount of joy that I felt was incomprehensible. I had just pulled my first prank with my son and we were now laughing our heads of miles away from camp.

“Did you see her face” Percy exclaimed through his fit of laughter “They do say revenge is sweet” he chuckled.

“That knife really did the trick” I say

“How does it work?” my son asked

“well you see it is kind of like a port key from that mortal book Harry potter it transport you to a certain location using the method of star transporting you could have done it yourself if you had your powers you could easily perform it yourself”  I answer he just nods. We were on a beach nearby and it was around 4 am in the morning and we watched the sun rising over the horizon to bring a new day for earth. I looked over to see Percy looking out at the horizon across the sea I could see his sadness roll of him like to waves of the water in front.

“This is what I’ve always wanted you know, to have a father that cares for you and not ignores you and believes in stupid lies” he huffed out

“And I have always wanted my son back, I guess we both got what we wanted” I say back. I hop up and dust of my cloak “I think it’s time to meet the rest of your family they really do miss you”

I extend my arm towards him and he takes it and I pull him up. “Since you don’t have your powers yet I think another means of transport can be accounted for” He gave me a quizzical look but I just swipe my hand through the air in front of me causing a swirling portal of stars to appear.

I looked over to see Percy impressed.

“Time to go” I motioned him into the portal and I followed and as I move through the black and starry abyss it closes from behind

Percy’s P.O.V

I follow my dad’s orders and I walk hesitantly through the portal. All I can say is it felt cold. My senses were sharpened as we travelled through space I could hear the whooshing of air past my ears and my messy black hair flying everywhere, I could feel every molecule in my body traveling a lightning speed until we came to an erupt stop casing me to fly out the other end leaving my laying on a cold black marble floor while Chaos gracefully stepped out.

“Sorry about that son, I forgot that you have never done this before” He chuckled while I got up.

I looked around to assess the surroundings it was like a scene out of star wars. Advanced technology littered throughout a warehouse filled with people, black marble mixed with star like swirls ran the entire floor. The people weren’t even people, aliens of all sorts were congressing around the facility and other portal were popping around with aliens coming out. I look up at the ceiling to see 2 more levels and glass chandeliers adorning the detailed ceiling Annabeth would have loved this.

But I can’t think of her right now. Sparkling dust of some sorts scattered the air and smelled like fresh cookies it was an inviting smell.

“What is this place?” I ask Chaos pointed to a massive sign that read ‘intergalactic transport centre’.

“It is the biggest station in the universe, it’s one of many and it is a place of transport and right now we are on my planet, Chaos” I nod. He motioned me through the crowds and as they noticed us everyone started to bow and all muttering “all hail lord chaos” looking over at him he waved at his citizens and looked over to me and patted me on the back.

“Just this way” I followed him through a hallway towards outside. When the rush of cold air blew from the exit I opened my eyes to be only greeted by the most beautiful view that I have ever been able to witness leaving me with my jaw gaping open at amazement.
