Andrew came into my room
"You okay" he asked sitting on my bed
"Yeah" I huffed. Andrew knew everything, the robbery, the shooting
"You don't have to lie to me" he said
"It's just mattys blowing this whole thing out of proportion"
"He can hug random people, girls, and I'm supposed to be okay with it"
"But I can't hug some one and thank them for helping me" I rambled
"I heard Gray, maybe its because of how William acted before" Andrew suggested
"His actually quiet nice when you guys aren't around, a lot of people are" I replied
"I just don't want you hurt Gray" Andrew said
"Then talk to Matthew, because right now I am hurt" I started crying. Andrew left my room in search of Matty.
My phone buzzed I was hoping it was him., but it was William
Hey , uh you wanna come get Matty
Without thinking or putting on shoes I run out of the house and straight to Williams
Without knocking I go in and start yelling Matty
I find him on the couch crying
With a busted lip
I crouched in front of him and touched his face
"Baby What happened" I asked him
"I came to apologize and he attacked me" matty said softly
I got in Williams face
"You think you're tough because you hit him?" I asked him
"Maybe everyone was right, there is something wrong with you, seriously wrong with you" I yelled while grabbing Matty and walking back out the door. I got him back to my house and place him on the couch by Adam
"So help me god, I'm going back over there and kicking his ass" I huffed getting Matty ice
"Leave it be Gray, well handle it" Ross said
I gave matty the ice and put on shoes.
I went back over to Williams ignoring the boys yelling at me
I knocked on his door
"What are you doing here?" He answered
"Waiting for an explanation and an apology" I huffed
"He comes into my home, and I have to apologize" he asked
I nodded
"They've got you so sheltered, Matty came in throwing punches telling me to leave you alone, I defended my self and now I'm the bad guy" he said
"I don't see you with any marks" I replied
He lifted his shirt
"I still don't think Matty would just attack you, and giving your history" I trailed off. And before i knew it I was held against the wall
"You don't know and damn thing about my life GrayceLynn! Ill leave you alone for now, but your pretty friends won't always be around to protect you, remember that" he threatened. He let me go and I spit in his face and ran back home
"Howd it go?" Andrew asked
"He said he's going to leave us alone" I said sitting by Matty
I couldn't help but wonder if what William had said was true, would matty attack without warning.
"Ross can you order food?" Andrew asked
"Sure thing, Chinese?" He asked
We all nodded
I went upstairs to the room to shower and change.
Matty slipped in behind me and wrapped his hands around my waist
"Matty" I said turning to face him
He hummed a response
"You'd never lie to me right" I asked
"Gray, I went over to talk, to thank him for helping you, he got offended because he thought it was bullshit, so he hit me, I hit him, he busted my face" he replied
"Promise that's the truth" I said
He nodded "I'd never lie to you baby" he said kissing me. We took a shower together and got out right as the food showed up
We ate and settled down to watch the Chucky movies
My phone buzzed
Hey is this GrayceLynn?
Uh yeah new phone who is this?
it's Sebastian
Oh hi, what's up?
I was wondering if you got the notes for the quiz Tomorrow ? I've been out sick
Yeah sure! Uh ill email them too you? Cool?
Yeah yeah *insert email here* thanks again !
No problem
I sent him the notes and turned my phone off and snuggled next to Matty. Something felt off tho, like he was changing, and I didn't know if it was good or bad.
I got up and went into the kitchen
"Whatcha over there thinking about" Andrew asked me
"It's nothing" I replied
"Come on Gray it's something" he said
"Are you worried about everything?" He said
I nodded
"Dont worry, we've taken care of everything, no one knows anything about the robbery, and as for William" he said
"He said you guys wouldn't always be around to protect me" I blurted out covering my mouth quickly
"What?" Andrew asked
"N-nothing" I stuttered
"Did he threaten you?" He asked
"Did who threaten her?" George asked walking into the kitchen.
"Gray said William said we wouldn't always be around to protect her" Andrew repeated
"Matthew" George yelled
"You guys he was probably joking" I said trying to ease the tension
"Doubtful. That kids a freak" Adam said
"Just forget it, I've got a test tomorrow I need to sleep" i huffed sliding off the counter
"You're not seriously gonna go to school like everything's okay are you?" Matty said grabbing my arm
"It's what I do" I said pushing him off
The less I acted like something was wrong, the better for everyone.
At least I hoped so
