I didn't even wait for the car. I started running
Sebastian was yelling after me but I just kept running. Matty was in trouble, bad trouble.
I got to ScapeGoat and tried calling Matty, he didn't answer so I followed the phone ringing.
He was passed out bloody next to a dumpster. His shirt was ripped off and his hair was messy
"Matty, matty wake up" I said
"Matthew please" I begged
"Please, I have nothing left" he flinched
"No matty its me its Gray" I soothed hearing a car pull up
"Matty!" George yelled running beside me
"I picked up George, I panicked" Sebastian said
"We should take him to the hospital" seb said
"No!" George and I both yelled
Sebastian looked confused, I locked eyes with Sebastian.
"Gray, is, is that a bullet wound" he said pointing to Mattys side
I ignored him taking mattys ripped shirt to clean his face
"GrayceLynn, why does he have a bullet wound" Sebastian said kneeling down
"I shot him" George lied
"I thought he was an intruder, it was late" he said
"Did he go to the hospital?" Sebastian asked
"No I used rubber bullets, hurts like hell but not deadly"
Damn George was a good liar
"So why can't he to to the hospital" Sebastian asked
"Because they'll investigate bullet wounds and we'll get in trouble" I said
"Please seb just get us home and ill take care of it" I pleaded. He nodded and we went back to my house.
I fixed matty up again and let him sleep. I told George to call me tomorrow and seb and I went home
He stopped me before I got out of the car
"Gray tell me the truth" Sebastian said
I looked at him
"I, I can't" I said
"Ill protect you, just. You gotta tell me" he said
"I can't, it's not just me, please I can't" I was shaking.
"So its true, you're protecting him" Sebastian said. I got out of the car
"Its not just him" "You don't understand I said walking into the house
"I understand that you're hung up on your criminal baby daddy" Sebastian yelled gaining Emerson and Remington attention
I turned around
"Criminal?" I asked
"He's not a criminal" I said
"Then why won't he go to a hospital, if George shot him by mistake, you won't get into trouble" Sebastian scoffed. I ran and locked myself in the bathroom and texted George
He keeps asking about the bullet wound,
You can't tell him
He said if it was an accident we won't get in trouble

Stay calm, we're coming over, maybe I can lie and it by us time
I walked out of the bathroom, "the boys are coming over to explain everything" I sighed
"Gray what did they do?" Emerson asked
"You'll find out soon"
The boys showed up and we sat around the living room. George, Adam, Ross and matty on one couch. Remington, Sebastian and Emerson on the other. And I was curled up a chair shaking
So far George had stuck to the accident , but it was now a real bullet that nicked him during a video shoot. Sebastian was doubtful but came around
"Were underaged so we can't have guns" George said
"That's why you're scared of hospitals" Remington said and George and Matty nodded
My breath had picked up when there was a knock
I opened it.
"Ma'am were looking for matthew Healy" the cop said
"I'm here" matty said
"You failed to check in with your counselor so we were requested to do a safety check" the cop said
"Uh I'm fine, I just got ambushed walking home" matty said
The cop took his statement and left
"I, I'm going to bed" I said
I'm exhausted and wanted today to be over. The boys continued to talk as I walked upstairs
I changed and laid down when there was a knock
"Babe" Sebastian said
"Yeah" I said softly
"You okay" he asked
"Just emotionally overwhelmed babe, come lay with me" I said
He cuddled up behind me. And soon I drifted off but not before hearing him say
"I love you"
The next morning I stayed home from school and caught up with my mom. She was happy to be a grandma but requested it had been under better circumstances,, I agreed. She left and i was finishing up work when my phone rang
