Arianna meets the Descendants

Chapter 8

After all that excitement, the gang started to see things coming along together nicely for the VKs. 

Evie passed her chemistry test without the help of her magic mirror and was now starting to spend more time with Doug. 

"Well, I'm sure glad everything's working out" Teeders smiled, referring to the other VKs. 

"Yeah, almost too good..." Kali replied, still a bit suspicious along with the others the way Ben had been acting since he ate that supposedly spelled cookie from Mal. 

Speaking of those two, Ben told the adventure kids he was planning on taking Mal out on a date by the Enchanted Lake in the forest. The adult adventure kids of course were a bit surprised and confused, not really knowing what to think. 

"Wow, I never thought a boy from Auradon and a girl from the Isle would go out on a date together" Ann mentioned. 

"Yeah" Brock agreed with his twin sister. 

"What's next? He asks Mal to be his queen?" David replied sarcastically. 

"You don't think this could be a trick do you?" Teeders asked Kali. 

"I don't know what the odds" The adventure kids' leader only replied, being a bit confused by all of this. 

"Well, it's officially," Cynthia said in sarcasm. "This world has gone crazy" 

Meanwhile, Ari was by herself out near the forest having her own problems. 

This whole time she thought coming to Auradon Prep would be exciting and a great new experience for her. But instead, had turned into a struggle for herself as the people here weren't accepting her as one of them because they were too scared of her magic. 

Ari wished so badly that her aunt, parents and the rest of her family were here to help guide her down the right path. 

Ari didn't know what else to do, so she started singing, while seeing flashbacks of her life from when she was little all the way to up who she was now. 

"A million thoughts in my head. Should I let my heart keep listening?"

"I can't decide what's wrong, what's right. Which way should I go?"

"If only I knew what my heart was telling me. Don't know what I'm feeling, is this just a dream?"

"Ah oh, yeah~"

"If only I could read the signs in front of me. I could find the way to who I'm meant to be"

"Ah oh, if only~"

"If only~"

"If only..."

Later on, in Remedial Goodness class~

The adventure kids decided to drop in on the VKs to see how they were doing, when they became caught up in quite a surprise. 

As Fairy Godmother had mentioned the news to everyone, this Sunday at Auradon Prep was Family Day. 

Ari was happy she'd get to be seeing her family again soon. Maybe things would finally get better for her after that.

But since the VK's parents couldn't come due to... um, distance. Fairy Godmother arranged a special treat for them by setting up a video chat. 

Fairy Godmother soon turned on the TV. The adventure kids were a bit shocked to see Maleficent's face right up against the screen, (after they hadn't seen the evil witch in so long).
