Imagine 7: Jack and Daniel

Y/n's POV:

Two words...

He cheated.

Jack Robert Avery, the love of my life. Partner for 1 year and 6 months cheated on me. On our 1 year and 7 months anniversary.

This is what happened...

Today was going to be great! It's Jack and I's anniversary! I bought him a golden ring that had a J and y/i on it.

I was on my way home from work, approaching our shared house.

As I unlocked the door I yelled "Hey Jack I'm home."

I heard nothing in response. I start walking up stairs.

I heard noises coming from our bedroom. When I got closer I heard the noises once again and realized what it was, moaning.

I slowly opened the door to see Jack and some girl.

I gasped, catching the attention of Jack. When he saw me, his eyes were filled with guilt.

"Why?"

"Y/n I-"

"Was I not good enough for you? What did I do to deserve this?" I cut him off as start to feel the tears building up.

He started to walk towards me, as I backed up.

"Get the hell away from me. You bastard. How could you? I was so happy today, but you cheat on me. ON OUR ANNIVERSARY. We're over!" I yell and slap him.

"Y/n Wait!" He starts but I don't bother to listen as I grab some of my things and walk out the door, after yelling.

"I EXPECT YOU AND YOUR CHEAT TO BE OUT OF THIS HOUSE BEFORE I GET BACK! TAKE YOUR STUFF AND DONT EVEN BOTHER COMING BACK!" I yell and slam the door shut.

Back to present...

Now I'm at my New apartment with Daniel. Him and I have been getting closer. He's my best friend , I can talk to him about everything.

I'm balling my eyes out while he's hugging and kissing my forehead.

Jack always wants to know how I am, he texts me everyday about how sorry he is, but I don't care. He hurt me.

"Y/n calm down. It's ok." Daniel whispers as he soothes me. My crying stops as I calm my breathing.

I look Daniel in the eye and see his comforting smile.

"I love you."

Those three words left my mouth. He looks at me in shock.

"I-I'm sorry. I shoul-" I get cut off with a kiss. I kiss him back as I feel better.

Our lips move in sync as he lies me on the bed still kissing me.

He suddenly breaks out of the kiss and looks at me with a puzzled, but happy expression.

"What's wrong?" I ask, concerned. Does he not like me?

"Are you sure you love me? You just got out of a relationship." He asks.

"I never realized how much you were here for me as Jack wasn't. You are the one I love. I was just blinded by the fact that Jack was with me. I love you, Daniel." I explain and feel... relieved.

He smiles the brightest smile and locks our lips together once again.

We roll around and kiss passionately and filled with love. I never felt so happy.

When we finally pull away he says

"I love you more. I've been waiting so long to hear you say those words." He says and I lock our lips once again.

...

It's the next day and Daniel and I are cuddling in bed. Then a phone call interrupts the peace.

"Ugh." I groan as Daniel grabs his phone.

"It's Jack." He says in a mad voice.

"Put in on speaker I want to hear what he says." I say.

Daniel answers the phone and puts it on speaker while wrapping his arm around me once again.

"What Jack?" He asks, sounding irritated.

"Where are you?" Jack asks.

"I'm with y/n. Why?"

"How's y/n? Is she ok? She never answers he phone. Can you tell her I miss her and want to see her?"

"Tell her yourself." Daniel responds as I whispered in his ear I want to talk to him.

"Hey Jack." I greet him.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry. It was a mistake. I love you. I promise I can make it up to you. Can we try again?" He pleads with sincerity.

"I'm sorry Jack, no. I realized I'm in love with someone else, but we can try and be friends." I reply and look at Daniel to see him looking at me smiling.

"Who is it then?" He asks, curiously.

Before I can respond, Daniel says

"Me."

"What?" Jack asks clearly angry.

"It's true. Now bye. Unless Daniel has to go to the studio or something, he's staying with me." I say and wait for a response.

I don't get one because he hangs up.

I look at Daniel and smile.

He smiles back and brings me in another kiss.
