Bliss
noun, perfect happiness; great joy.

(Name) had never felt the feeling before Peter entered her life. The feeling of perfection, when she was around him not a lone negative thought crossed her mind.

She was feeling bliss that day, as the morning sun poured in through the sheer white curtains. The room was drenched in the white light.

The girl was swimming in blankets as she woke up. She felt an arm sprawled over her torso, and soft snores beside her.

Peter has fallen asleep after pulling an all nighter study session between the two. The books were still on the bed, and both Peter and (Name) we're fully dressed in their clothe from the day before. She didn't want to move, just bask in the moment and hold it forever.

Until Peters alarm began blaring off, the god awful theme song he chose was 'Dust in the wind' but Kansas. (Name) always complained about it when she was around and it went off, but he insisted he liked the song and it was calming (rather then miserably depressing as his girlfriend had put it).

She waited for him to shut it off, but after a moment of him completely sleeping through the extremely loud song, she elbowed his side lightly.

"Pete, wakey wakey." She said with a giggle, watching him grumble flail his arm at his phone. After successfully turning it off he flipped over so he was facing (name).

"Morning sunshine." He said was a cheesy smile on his face, the sun illuminating the scene. It's rays casted on his face made his eye lashes and hair appear blonde.

She smiled back, staring into his eyes for a moment, before sitting up slowly.

"I can't believe we fell asleep with everything still out." She said through a yawn, motioning to the books laying all over her bed.

"We did stay up until four." He commented, closing his eyes again.

"I want to go back to sleep." He mumbled into a pillow. Her heart fluttered at the sight, standing up and stretching.

"It's Sunday Parker, sleep in if you want. We've got all day." She sung as she dramatically twirled around her room and danced into the bathroom, hearing Peter laugh from the bed.

She got into the bathroom, turning the faucet on to brush her teeth. She suddenly sighed, holding her head in her hands as she stared at herself in the mirror. The girl had a troubled look on her face.

"I have to tell them at some point." She muttered to herself, distressed. She looked back at what reminded her of all this. A bullet laid on the counter, obviously used at it was dirty and damaged.

The sight of it brought back the memory of how she got it, she stared unblinkingly at it as the memory replayed itself.

Two weeks before

Tony had sent her alone on a mission, knowing the element controlling teen could handle herself. He had even gone as far as to create (Name) her own suit. Activated by a clip for her hair. If she pressed it, it formed a suit around her, along with a head piece and helmet if needed. He wanted to test it in combat, so he gave the prototype to (Name) and flew her out to Arizona to bust a illegal weapon trade planning on happening.

Half way into the mission the new equipment failed, spending her in the middle of a small battle with zero protection except her shorts, t-shirt, and socks.
