First Impression

My love life has always been very fluid, meaning that I love whom I love without looking at their gender. I HATE labels because they box you and I like living life outside the box. I love LOVE and I love being loved and I love loving; it is the best thing in life.

When I was just 14 years old I won a Jennifer Lopez look-alike contest and that win propelled me towards a modeling career. It is in this field that I have met the most handsome men and most beautiful women in the industry and beyond. I have had a couple of girl crushes, one night stands, and celebrity hook ups, both male and female. It is in one of these shoots for a popular urban magazine that I caught a glimpse of a beautiful, young lady who I had never seen before in my modeling & clubbing circles but who definitely caught my curious eye.

She was being prepped for a bikini shoot and even though my shoot had wrapped up, I decided to stay on and just watch her as she prepared to do hers. She had the cutest pink string bikini that was made just to fit her and no one else.  She had the most curvaceous body I had ever seen and her smile and infectious laughter filled the room. She had people surrounding her putting finishing touches on her hair & make up and I couldn't help but be jealous that I was not part of these people.

As she stepped into the lights to start her photo shoot, my mouth was wide open in awe and was excited to get a front seat of this show about to start.  She glanced at me and smiled and my heart skipped a beat, and I had to look behind me to see if she was smiling at me or someone else. When I realized it was me, I turned quickly and smiled back but it was too late as she had already began to pose and my heart sank with lost opportunity.

At that very moment, my phone rang....and it couldn't have rang at a worse time.
