CHAPTER 3

Jax's Point of View

"Hmmm-hmmm..." I'm humming happily as I am holding the wooden box and saw Mang Kiko.

"Sir Jax, saan po kayo pupunta? Bawal po kayo lumabas," saad nito sa akin pero 'di nagbago ang ekspresyon ko.

"Hindi naman po ako lalabas. Pumunta po sana ako para humingi ng favor na dalhin n'yo ito kay Claire. Pambawi ko po sana sa kaniya dahil alam n'yo na po ang nangyari last time," sagot ko at sa loob-loob ko ay pambawi na iba naman talaga ang ibig sabihin. Pambawi ko sa ginawa niya ngayon.

"Wow... sige po Sir Jax. Dadalhin ko 'to sa kanila ngayon din," tugon niya at inabot ko ang wooden box. Napansin ko na medyo naramdaman yata niyang mabigat 'yon pero nanatili pa rin ang aking ngiti.

"Thank you, Mang Kiko! Babalik na po ako sa kuwarto ko. I'll just eat my meryenda there and read books while waiting for dinner."

"Sige po ulit, Sir Jax."

Pagkatapos ay palabas na rin si Mang Kiko kaya nagmamadali akong bumalik sa kuwarto ko dala ang meryenda. Magkatapat lang ang kuwarto namin dahil magkatabi lang din halos ang mansion na tinitirhan namin. I opened my window and put on my headphone. Mahina lang ang volume ng aking music para masigurong maririnig ko ang sigaw niya mamaya. Binuksan ko ang libro at sumubo ng cookie at napapansin ko pa rin na binuksan na rin ang bintana ng kuwarto niya.

Pasimple akong tumingin at nakatalikod ito saka may nag-abot ng wooden box na pinapabigay ko sa kaniya. If I'm not mistaken, that's Nanay Rose, ang kaniyang nanny noon na naninilbihan pa rin bilang katulong sa kanila hanggang ngayon. Mabilis kong binalik ang tingin sa libro dahil napansin ko na palingon na siya sa pwesto ko.

"I can't wait to hear her scream. I'm sure it will be fun," I murmured and later on, there she goes. Screaming at me and me pretending I cannot hear her.

"JAX MONTEBELLO, I SWEAR I'LL MAKE BAWI TO YOU! JUST WAIT FOR IT! I HATE YOU!" Well, what is inside the wooden box? The rocks she inserted in my bag and I also put a note there. I continued reading while hearing her screaming in frustration.

"What can I say? We are enemies. I'll always get revenge," I uttered and smirked.

Claire's Point of View

"Surprise! Binabalik ko rin ang kabutihang loob mo, my conyo enemy. I'll always get revenge. You think I'll stop when you put these rocks inside my bag? Well, halos 'di ko nga naramdaman na nasa bag ko pala 'to kasi ang gaan-gaan naman. It's more fun nang Kindergarten tayo at halos gawin mong suitcase ang bag mo sa bigat ng ISANG bato na nilagay ko sa bag mo. Do you remember it? It's still funny until now. Better luck next time, Claire."

Masama ko siyang tiningnan habang nagbabasa lang siya at naka-headphone pa. I'm sure he could hear me screaming ranina and he opened his window and sat there just to see and hear my reaction. Nakakainis siya! I swear, I'm not joking to make bawi to this. Kailangan ko mag-think ng other way para makapag revenge sa kaniya. I hate him to the core!

"Wait! Well, chocolates for Valentine's Day will not harm him and my ego. Just wait for it, my dearest enemy. I'll make you scream. This would be my greatest plan to take revenge on him, I guess? Challenge accepted, Jax." I smirked while looking at him and I knew who I could ask for help to be able to implement my plan.

Tinago ko ang wooden box sa ilalim ng bed ko at baka makita pa ni Mommy ito. Pagkatapos ay kinuha ko ang planner ko, yes, I have two planners! One is for my goals in my life and the other one, my goals in planning to take revenge on him.

Kinaumagahan ay agad kong nilapitan ang friends ko sa may bench. Risa and Lisa are twins but not identical. I've been friends with them since Kindergarten. Ang kasama ko na rin mag-plan ng revenge for Jax, ang ugly kong kaaway.

"Good morning, girls!"

"Good morning, how is it? Anong reaction ni Jax kahapon?" Lisa asked.

"Well, I did not see his face but sigurado ako na he is shocked. Isa pa, yesterday ay binigyan niya ako ng wooden box, then when I buksan it, I saw that the laman ay mga rocks na I put inside his bag with a note as well. Of course, I screamed and he was really mapagkunwari dahil nag-act siyang 'di ako naririnig but I saw him smirking. Anyway, you love chocolates, Risa, right?"

"Ohh... yes! Hmm, you have a favour?" she answered.

"I'm sure of it. Sa ngiti pa lang ni Claire, may plano na agad 'yan." Lisa also said. I just keep smiling because this will be a perfect plan.

"Yep. I have a plan for Valentine's Day. You know Jax's favourite chocolate, right? They always order that sa store ninyo," sabi ko at hinawakan ang hair ko then pinapaikot-ikot ito.

"Yes, hmmm, are you going to ask him to date you?"

"What?! No! Never! Just give me his favourite chocolate, two. I'll give you the payment now. Lisa, I think may hihingin ako sa'yo na favour for this din kasi it will make the plan perfect!"

"Okay, what is it?" she asked and I whispered it to them. Now we are all smiling.

"Perfect plan, isn't it?"

"Yes. Very perfect!" Both of them responded.

Next week, all of my revenge will surely hunt him. Pumunta na kami to our room dahil our first class ay malapit na. I saw him laughing with his friends too. We looked at each other, then both of us smirked before I sat down.

Mom and Ninang really want us to be great friends like them, even our father, but it will never happen. We will never be friends like them. No friendship for us since we met each other when we were in Kindergarten. Enemies as always. No punishment can stop us from being enemies to each other. How did it start? Well, we really just hate each other for no or some reason.

Anyway, hindi na ako mak-wait for Valentine's Day!
