Sophie's pov

"No please don't do that" Leo pleaded standing in front of my shaking body.

"Why shouldn't I?" James asked

"L-Leo" I stuttered

"He slowly grabbed my hand and held it tight as if he was afraid to let go which he probably was.

"Why did you bully me all those years?" Leo asked him wait... that's how Leo knew James he was one of Leo's bully's.

"Don't you get it? I was always jealous of you your looks perfect family, you were just perfect" James said now you could see tears in his eyes.

Leo grasped my hand even tighter if that was even possible.

"P-please just let us go and we won't tell anyone about this" Leo cried. James slowly began to put the gun down when we heard the police sirens from a short distance.

James held the gun back up...

"To late now" he smirked and before I could say or do anything I saw James pull the trigger, that's when everything started to go in slow motion.

I saw the bullet racing into Leo's stomach and his frightened face, James smirk not leaving his face not once and my tears spilling to the ground.

I couldn't breath I never thought I Would be in this situation before. I grabbed the bat Leo had bought with him and knocked James over the head not hard enough to kill him just knock him out until the police got here.

"I- I love you" were the last words I heard from him until he passed out.

I bent down and tried to feel for a pulse which was a bit hard with shaking hands.

Soon the police arrived with an ambiance luckily.

I couldn't ride in the back of the ambulance apparently Leondre was in a serious condition which was understandable.

Soon we arrive at the hospital and Charlie, Blair, Dan, overload the pow pows and harvey arriving 5 minutes later.

Harvey ran straight up to me and put me in his lap and just let me cry into his shoulder (we have a really strong friendship)

Occasionally he would say things like

"It's ok cupcake" or "everything's going to be ok" I new he was crying to I could tell by the way he was speaking.

Afew hours later a doctor walked in and we got ready to here the news.

"It was a long and complicated operation, we almost lost him a few times but I'm lucky to say he survived" we all blew a sigh of relief.

"But... he has some serious damage and there is a fifty percent chance he won't wake up" the doctor said sadly.

I Would have cried but I didn't have any tears left.

The doctor told us we were aloud to see him but only for one at a time and he may not wake up today or tomorrow... or at all.

I slowly walked into his room and sat down in the little chair beside the bed. I grabbed his cold and pail hands and held it gently.

"I love you Leo please don't forget me" I whispered. I spoke to his unconscious body for 10 minutes until I had to get up and leave to let his family talk to him. just as I was about to leave the room everything started beeping I turned around quickly to see the mechins lighting up.

I called out to the doctors and they were in there no longer than 5 seconds later. I was pushed out of the room and I watched shocked at what was happening...
