Adeline Hart took in a deep breath as she looked at herself in the mirror one last time. She was heading to her first meeting on behalf of her father. Her father was the co-founder of Bennett and Hart's, a luxury hotel chain that had locations all over the globe.

The sound of her heels clicking on each step of the staircase could be heard from the living area down below where her father was stirring his usual cup of green tea while sitting on a couch in their living room, which was next to the kitchen and dining area. Her brother Nicholas was on a high stool near the kitchen island pouring some cereal into his bowl of milk.

"You are gonna be amazing today, sweetheart." Her father, Edward Hart said beaming as he got up to give her a peck on the cheek.

"I'm so proud of you." Her mother Jennifer Hart said as she walked out of her study where she probably would have been writing her latest mystery novel.

"Thanks mom. Thanks dad."

Jennifer hugged Adeline and advised. "Don't be too nervous, okay. After all, one day you might have to walk down the runway in front of lots of celebrities."

Adeline sighed. Her mother was very loving and supportive but insisted on Adeline becoming a model like her sister, Eva who was currently away for a photo-shoot. But Adeline was more interested in the family business and loved to help her father out in any way she could. Her father was also a shareholder of Atlantic Records in addition to having his own business. Which was why she was going to meet some representatives of the record label and some musicians to discuss sponsoring a concert for them.

"Don't trip in front of them." Her seventeen year-old brother whom they lovingly called Nick, said with a mouth full of cereal and a spark of mischief in his eye.

"Haha, very funny." Adeline remarked sarcastically, rolling her eyes. That boy was going to be slapped by her one day, she thought. "Did you get up so early just to say that to me?" She asked.

"Nah, I'm going with Noelle to the gym. She's considering getting a membership." Nick replied. He was referring to their father's business partner Austin Bennett's only daughter Noelle Bennett, who was Nick's good friend and crush even though she was two years older than him.

She grabbed her keys off the kitchen counter and walked outside, taking deep breaths like her therapist had advised when dealing with nervousness.

She sped off in her BMW and arrived at the location of the meeting five minutes early. It was her motto that it was better to be an hour early than a minute late. She disliked tardiness in herself and others. She got out of the car and bent down a little to fix her hair in the side-view mirror. She adjusted the hair clips which kept her extremely straight brown hair from falling out of her low ponytail.

She straightened herself and smoothed down the creases on the shirt of her pantsuit as she began to walk inside the Atlantic Records office building in LA

She straightened herself and smoothed down the creases on the shirt of her pantsuit as she began to walk inside the Atlantic Records office building in LA. She called her assistant Luke Davis who was already there in a conference room somewhere.
