Next day I woke up before time to make some buttermilk for after practice. It was for Naseer.  I rushed to the  arena and awaited his approach.  He didn't arrive.  I continued my practice. Slowly the arena was full but Naseer did not approach. I was worried about him. Someone tapped me back,  I swirled round hoping that it was Naseer but it was Fatima. She raised her dagger to hit mine.  We combated each other but she soon lost and I proceeded with my arrows which I had mastered by now.  In fact I had become a fairly well warrior by now.
Suddenly a conch sounded as I saw all those practicing lined up. I too joined the queue.
" what's going on?  " I asked Fatima.
"We have been called at the palace fir some emergency announcement " she whispered back.
I just nodded and straightened my body. We marched forward towards the palace. It was no larger than my old abode,  I heaved a sigh.  The throne room was much spacious  with gold masterpieces scattered around casually. The king was seated with his queen and...  Was it Naseer?
I guessed I was already missing him too much. My eyes widened... It wasn't possible.  The king no doubt was my enemy and I had to avenge for my family members  but my loved young man was...  The prince...  An invisible needle pierced my heart,  a feeling so unknown surged up.  I was too shocked. Soon as his gaze met mine,  a smile curled up his lips and I didn't know how to react.
