Chapter 1 - Trials

"DAMN IT!" I chuck my alarm clock through my bedroom wall.

Beep* Beep* Beep*

"I've literally been to hell, and this is so much worse.... wait a minute where in the HELL did that thing even come from? I haven't had an alarm clock for at least a month."

I hear a quite giggle next to me. "I bought it honey. Plus I reinforced it with Asgardian magic." Rossweisse gets up out of bed, and stretches as her long silver her cascades down her back. "I'm going to go take a shower, I'll meet you down stairs for breakfast." She heads out of the room, and shuts off the alarm clock on the way out.

You know I completely forgot about her asking me out.

You truly are a moron.

You know Reg, was a lot nicer then you.

I never said I had to live in your body.

I never wanted you to.

"Well it seems like you and the white dragon are getting along well." Rias stands in my door way.

"Yeah 'getting along' If that's what you want to call it."

Rias laughs. "It's a process, it'll take some time to get used to but I'm sure the two of you'll become friends. Just look at how long it took you and Reg, to get used to each other."

"I guess you have a point, I'm sorry Albion. I know I'm making this transition harder then it already is."

I'm at fault as well.

"Something is definitely different about you since we got back from the underworld." Rias says as she turns away from my room. "I'm just not sure if it's for better or worse yet." Rias starts to walk away. "Breakfast will be done in about ten minutes, so you might want to be dress and down stairs by then, or Issei might eat all the food. He's been training to get stronger since you became the White Dragon Emperor."

"Okay I'll be dressed, and I'll be down in a few minutes."

I walk back down stairs, but I can't help but think about what I noticed about (y/n). "Hey Pres." Issei interrupted my thought. "What's wrong, is something the matter?"

"No I was just thinking about something." I sit down at the table, and Akeno places a plate full of breakfast food In front of me. Soon after Akeno places a plate in front of every chair, and everyone joins us and sits down, and I still can't help but notice how (y/n) is behaving.

"Uh Hey Akeno, could you please pass me the salt?" I think that's the first time, I've ever heard (y/n) say please.

We all finished our food, and get ready to head off to school, Rosswiesse and Cessiel left before anyone because they were left in charge of unlocking the school this week. Everyone leaves the house except (y/n). I decided to hang back so I can have a conversation with him.

"Hey Issei."

"Yeah Asia?"

"Is it just me or does something seem off about (y/n)?"

"Something did seem a little off about him, I mean aside from glaring at me a couple times, I'm pretty sure he said please for the first time in his life." I place my hands behind my head. "But who's to say if that's off or not for him, a lot has happened to him. And who really knows what happened when he went into that void, with Pres and Vali."

"I should have been there to protect him." Seekvaira stated. "Had I been there (y/n) would still have Regulus, and Vali would still be here."

"You can't beat yourself up over that Seekvaira, we all wanted to be at (y/n)'s side in that moment." Ravel explained.

"She's right Vaira, you can't do that to yourself, it would destroy (y/n) if he knew about it."

"That's easy for you to say Irina, you're not the one that watched (y/n) toss and turn, you're not the one that listened to him scream in the middle of the night, when he was unconscious for a month." Seekvaira got in Irina's face. "Just because you're to naive and stupid to realize, (y/n) left something behind in that void, doesn't mean the rest of us are."

"Seekvaira enough, fighting is not going to solve anything."

"Stay out of this blondie." Seekvaira snapped. "She needs to learn she can't be a moron all the time."

Seekvaira, Ravel, And Irina all continue to fight and argue. "Hey Vice Pres., should we do something about this?"

Akeno had a surprisingly serious face. "No." Her answer took me by surprise. "They need to do this. They have all been tense like this for awhile now, and with (y/n) and Rosswiesse dating, it's only pushed them closer to this."

"But still we should stop them before they actually start fighting each other."

"I said no, we'll step in if we have to, but it's best of we just let them sort it out themselves."

"So um President, why did you bring me here?"

"(Y/n), you don't have to call me President."

"Uh okay, Rias why did you bring me here? Shouldn't we be heading to school?"

Rias takes a seat on a park bench. She pats the spot next to her, and I sit down there. "(Y/n) first answer me this question. Do you know where we are?"

"A park."

"Yes, but do you know why this park is unlike any other park in the city?"

I look around. "A lot of birds like to be here?"

Rias giggles. "No this park is more special then just that, this is the park were we first met each other."

"The first time I met you was in the woods."

"I know, you're battle with that rogue devil did a number on the trees, so the city decided to make this another park."

"That's cool, I think, but why did you bring me here?"

Rias stayed quite for a few seconds, just looking at the sun light raining down on the beautiful scenery. "(Y/n), when we were in that void, something changed. We both left that place different then when went in."

"I know." I let my head hang.

"(Y/n), I'm sorry about Vali, and I'm sorry about the rest of your peerage. Just know (y/n) if you ever need anything I'll be here for you."

"Thank you Rias."

Rias stayed Silent again, but this time she looked at me. "(Y/n), I know you and Rosswiesse are a thing now, but just know I will always lo..."

"Ah did I brake up a touching moment?"
I hear a irritatingly familiar laugh behind me. "Did you miss me Red? No, well how about you Golden Boy?"

"Loki..." Rias and I both Growl.
