In the past, wars between countries were endless. It was all because of the sudden discovery of Extrasensory Perception or ESP.

People who have ESP abilities were called espers. There were random instances where some people show signs of being an esper.

The Raven Organization is a group of criminal espers that poses a threat to the peace and order of the world.

That's why Project VOID existed. The Project of Valiant Operation Integration Development was created for the sole purpose of keeping the balance between espers and the normals so that both can live harmoniously.

Eclair is an agent who was working for Project VOID and has been tasked to disguise, to spy, and to investigate any case that may be related to the notorious Raven Organization.

In Narita Airport, Tokyo city, Japan...

The busy agent is so pissed off.

"What did you mean delayed?" Eclair asked the guard with a masculine built body, standing in front of the "Do Not Cross" signage. The signage was blocking the other passengers from passing through.

"Ma'am we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We would like to ask all of you to standby and wait for further updates." The guard replied.

"Something is going on here." Eclair thought to herself.

She puts her hand inside her coat's right pocket and grabs something. Eclair pulled it out and shoves her Identification Card in front of the guard's face.

"I want to check whatever has happened beyond this signage," Eclair commanded.

After seeing Eclair's I.D. and identified her as a detective, the guard was convinced. He waved his arms above his head. Another guard with an old silly face had seen it and then immediately approached them.

"Nan desu ka?" (What is it?) He said.

"She is Detective Barton, please assist her to the inspector." The masculine guard said.

"Wakarimashita!" (Understood!) The old silly faced guard replied.

After that short conversation, they let Eclair pass and guided her to the inspector. A few minutes later the old guard talked to Eclair while they are walking.

"We are sorry for the inconvenience." He said and then pointed his finger to a man not so far away from them.

He is young and handsome even from afar. Eclair can't see the man's face but she can tell it just by looking at the man's aura. The unknown man is an inch taller than her and probably a gentleman based on his clothes.

"He is the inspector." The old silly faced guard said.

"I can handle myself now. You should go back to your post now." Eclair said.

The guard just nods and left. Eclair slowly but confidently approached the busy inspector.

"Excuse me," she said with a smirk. The inspector does not seem to notice her.

"Excuse me!" she repeated, this time louder. The handsome inspector heard it loud and clear.

"And excuse me," he said. "Who are you?"

"I'm a detective," Eclair smirks once again. "My name is Detective Barton."

"And you're here because?" The handsome inspector sarcastically asked. His eyes clearly show that he is looking down on her.

"Of course, to solve this case," Eclair answered, slightly irritated.

"We didn't need you here," The inspector quickly replied, then he points his finger at the wide hallway. "Leave now."
