"Like I said, it's complicated." Molinda mutters, as they walk down the apartments stairs towards the ground floor. Apparently, the elevators had cameras and she was trying to limit the amount of people who saw her in her 'little costume'. Grace chose to keep quite about the cameras that sat in the staircase too.

"There's nothing complicated about it." Grace mutters, tightly holding onto her laundry basket. "I just want to know what you're doing with that outfit."

Molinda stops on the fourth step and stares at Grace for a long moment before shaking her head and slowly moving down the stairs, the costume swaying with each step.

"Fine." She finally says, when they reach the ground floor and step outside into the star-filled sky. "Remember that guy I caught making out with some chick in the laundromat?"

Grace early nods as she places her basket outside staircase.

"Well, the wife found out." Molinda says, her eyes deviously sparkling behind the clear goggles. "The wife enlisted me, she wanted me to help her catch him in the act."

"So, where does the costume come into play?" Grace asks, as they walk along the ground floor apartments and head towards the garden.

"I've been tailing the guy for a couple of days now." Molinda says, pride shinning in her eyes. "He always comes here, to the garden,  I couldn't follow him here because look at it." She mutters pointing to the building's small garden.

"He would easily spot you." Grace mumbles, staring at the greenery and the large empty patch of the garden; void of any trees or shrubs.

"Exactly, unfortunately they don't sell grass costumes or I could have sat right here in the open and busted him." Molinda drawls out, her eyes on the grass. "So, I chose the next best thing; a bush. I'm going to hide there in the corner and wait for him to show up."

Grace simply nods her mind filled with unanswered questions.

"So, how did the wife know you'd do this?" Grace asks, her eyes heavy on Molinda and the dumb costume she wore. "You obviously didn't tell her that you tipped her off about her husbands cheating."

"Tipped off?" Molinda let's out a loud huff, as she quickly moves deeper into the garden. "I would never ruin other people's marriage. What do you take me for?"

"Cut the crap, Molinda." Grace flatly says, her eyes fully accusing her.

"Mbhfcy." Molinda quickly says.

"What, I didn't hear that." Grace mutters, cupping her ears and leaning closer. "Repeat."

"It's not my first time doing this." She sighs.

"You don't say." Grace sings. "So, what you run your own Cheaters operation here? Shelly Cascades' Cheater Experts?"

"What, no!" Molinda shouts, moving toward the corner of the garden, moving aside some of the garden pots and carefully planting herself in the crook of the garden wall. "I haven't given it an official name yet but that doesn't sound so bad."

Grace startes at Molinda mortified.

"Is that why you sneak out your house in the middle of the night?"

"You hear that?" Molinda asks, her eyes drawn to the sky. "Shoot, I've got to be more quite than that."

Grace slowly moves towards Molinda, her hands pulling down her bandana as she crosses over from the green grass to the dark loam.

"How many people cheat here that you've actually started a business for it."

"Oh, you would be surprised." Molinda laughs. "I'm actually considering moving to the other buildings, you know. I heard some real nasty scandals about Ethan Close just the other day."

"Molinda!" Grace reprimands.

"What?"

"This is...it's not normal."

"Who gave you the right to decide what's normal?" She asks, turning her eyes away from Grace.

"Well, dressing up as a bush and hiding in the corner of garden with worms and critters isn't exactly what normal people do, Molinda." Grace says, throwing her a glare. " Don't you have a job to keep you busy?"

"Okay, now you're being rude." Molinda huffs, her eyes dangerously narrowed.

"Rude? You're the one ruining peoples marriages and for what? Pleasure or money?"

"Don't tell me what to do with my life." She sneers, roughly pushing her goggles up. "I'm sure you would have loved if somebody told you about Raymond cheating."

Grace freezes.

"How do you know about that?" She whispers, turning her gaze to the floor.

"Well, you're not exactly quiet either when you yell at him ,in the middle of the night, to get out your apartment."

"You know what, Molinda?"

"What?" She screams, her costume rustling.

"I don't need this from you." Grace huffs and storms off towards the staircase, grabbing her laundry bag before shouting, "Enjoy sitting in the bushes like a creep!"

Grace roughly shuts the staircase door as she storms up the stairs towards her apartment.

"Who does she think she is?" Grace screams, throwing open her door. " She's the one meddling in people lives and she has the nerve..."

Grabbing her phone from the basket, Grace throws the basket onto the couch and marches to her room, her eyes blind with rage.

"Ug, I could just..."

Grace lifts her hand, ready throw her phone against the wall when she feels something cold trail along her cheeks.

"I'm flipping crying now." She screams, harshly wiping the tears away and throwing her head back. "Thanks Molinda."

Roughly stuffing her phone into the charger, Grace flings her shoes into her closet before tossing herself onto the bed.

"I don't care about her or Raymond or anybody for that matter." She murmurs, as the tears continue falling. "I don't care that my fiancé cheated. I don't."

Grace forcefully closes her eyes, snuggling into her duvet, and waits for the painless darkness to consume her.

Hey Luvies,

Guess what? I wrote this chapter outside, I know.

I thought why not and took my laptop out of my room into the cool, crisp afternoon of South Africa.

How did this chapter feel? Was it different from the rest? Was it better? because if it is I might write out here more often.

I do have to say, I finished this chapter quicker than I usually finish the others and the word count was roughly the same, so....

Anywho, hope ya'll good and don't forget to stay cool and stay in school.
