"I'm going to miss you guys so much!" I said as I hugged all my best friends goodbye.
"We need to make sure we catch up over time" my closest friend Amelia said as we walked out the front doors together. After I gave Amelia one last hug, I got my car keys out from my bag and unlocked my car and started to drive home.
Hi, my name is Elena Atkins and I am 17 years old and I have just finished highschool. I have brown hair and blue eyes and I love to dance. I have an older brother called James, my mum Katrina and my father Christopher. I live in Australia in the city right next to the countries most feared ganglander, Levi Lombardi.

I finally got back home from school and burst through the front door of my house to celebrate me finishing school, but when I got there I saw my family all sitting on the lounge staring at me with tears in their eyes. I sat down next to them and asked what's wrong.
"We really want you to know that we love you Elena no matter what," my mum said as tears flowed out her eyes like a river.
"Yeah I know that you will always love me, as I will always love you guys too," I say back to them, " but why so many tears? "
My dad turned and held both of my hands and looked me in the eyes,
"Elena I made terrible mistake and made a bet with Levi Lombardi."
I looked at him confused to what this has to do with me. My father was about to speak when my brother James budded in and said,
"Elena dad lost. He owed $1 million to Levi but dad didn't have the money but-" before James could finish I interrupted "What do you mean by 'owed him money'?"
James looked at me for a minute before saying
"Dad was about to be killed but right before he was going to pull the trigger, Levi spotted a picture of you on Dad's desk and it instantly caught his attention. Dad sold you to Levi to get out of his $1 Million debt. "
I felt warm streams down my cheeks as my brother's arms wrap around me and hold me tight. After 5 minutes I managed to get words out of my mouth,
"When will he be here?" I asked and my father turned his head to me and said,
"Tonight." Was all he simply said.
After I heard those words I instantly jumped from the couch and ran upstairs into my bedroom. Before I could close the door I heard my mum ask me,
"Elena what are you doing? " she asked,
I told her I was packing my bags for when I leave with Levi, but in reality I was making a plan on how to run away....
