Day 5

•Camila•

"Wreath making competition!" Taylor announced.

"We all will have the whole afternoon to go out and shop for decorations for our own personal wreath. Then we will come back and start the challenge here! It will be timed. About an hour. And whoever has the best looking wreath, it will be hung on the front door. Don't worry everyone else can hang there's in the front of their rooms." She ranted.

"So everyone, let's go get ready!" She said and everyone dispersed and went into their rooms.

Last night was something unexpected. I didn't expect the truth to be revealed to me. I didn't expect anything at all. Last night when Shawn asked me to take him back I just thought it was too early. I know it's been 4 years but I couldn't just take him back right after he explained everything to me. I needed to process everything. So I told him I wanted him back too but I needed some time to process. So basically we weren't a couple but we were but we weren't but we were. BASICALLY, we were taking it slow.

"I'm going to make the best wreath!" I said as Ariana, Taylor, Ed, Shawn, and I walked along the shopping street.

"Excuse you I have way more skill than you." Taylor retorted.

"Sure Tay." I said rolling my eyes sarcastically, challenging her.

"You guys keep on bickering, while we all know I'm gonna win." Shawn said winking.

"Yeah right mendes." Taylor and I said at the same time.

"Ok ok guys. This is just a challenge." Ed the wise one butted in making Taylor and I scowl at him and him back off. After a minute of silence we all burst into laughter. Noticing that Ariana had taken no part in the conversation (or rather bickering) I looked at her worried.

"Ari, you okay?" I asked her as everyone's gaze turned to her.

"Huh? Yeah I'm fine.. I'm okay... I'm alright.." she said.

"Uh I'm pretty sure you're not fine or okay or alright Ari.." Taylor said and I nodded.

"What's wrong?" Ed asked her.

"It's nothing. It's just Justin is still avoiding me and.." She trailed off sighing.

"He'll come around Ariana.. it'll be fine." I said sighing

"And okay and alright.." Taylor joked making Ariana finally laugh along with us.

"And START." Taylor said starting the timer and we all started decorating our wreaths. We were all sitting in the living room leaning against something sitting down and had our decorations for our wreaths right next to us. We had 45 minutes to complete decorating our wreaths.

If you were wondering what happened to Justin and Selena.. well they got back together after some compromises from mainly Justin. Justin was taking part in the wreath-making competition whereas Selena was not as she thought it was 'a waste of time and extremely childish.' Her words not mine.

"I'm going to beat you Mendes." I said as I worked on the final touches of my wreath.

"Oh yeah? We'll see about that." He challenged back as he started to pick up his pace on working on his wreath making me chuckle. Just as I was done putting up the final touches on my wreath Taylor's alarm blared and everyone stopped.
