The week after the dance rolled around and the three of us were still on a high from our performance.

"So the Formal last week, amazing right?", Ronnie said.

"Yuhuh." Morgan and I simply responded.

We were now quite popular after our successful performance at the formal, by popular I mean that people now acknowledged that we exist even more. When we walked through the school hallway these days we caught the stares of some people, mostly of admiration but some hateful ones too, prompting Ronnie to get too adventurous and give them 'the finger', making Morgan snigger and me shake my head in disappointment, but she soon stopped laughing and instead started blushing when she saw Zeke walking our way.

"Um. Guys...can I?"

I gave her a look that said go ahead and she walked over to him, he took her hands into his before making out with her in front of everyone as the bell went off. When she heard the bell she began walking off to class, but he grabbed one of her hands again, just before a look of guilt and seriousness came over his face. He said something to her that was clearly upsetting because we saw her eyes fill with tears until whatever it was he was saying became too much for her and she ran towards us, tears pouring down her cheeks.

"H-he br-broke up with m-me."

She stood, stuck to the spot, a look of disbelief fixed onto her face.

"Aww Mo...why the hell would he do this to you?" Ronnie asked,
"He's dumping me for that new girl Asia, said they had a b-better connection or something. I don't get it. I thought we were fine!" She wailed.

I found it difficult to wrap my head around the fact that he could do this to her, as if he hadn't just kissed her in front of the whole school. He was a jerk to embarrass her in front of everyone like that. How could he KISS her then leave her so easily? What was he thinking? Whatever it was, I knew that Morgan and Zeke were now going to be the focus of the high school gossip, and for a long time too, the teenage population could be a very dangerous place to live sometimes.

He dumped me. Just like that. I wanted him hurt the way he hurt me, so the girls and I decided to ruin Zeke and Asia's relationship. Santana wiped away my tears with a scrunched up tissue she found in her pocket, gave me her mascara to redo my makeup and then we all walked to our separate last lessons of the day. I had English literature, which I was glad about because Ms. Matthews was an amazing, kind, sweet and did I mention amazing teacher, and she would let us chillax a little bit and take it easy.

I had math and I had it with Asia so it was a perfect opportunity to mess with her. The class was waiting for Mr Williams and was in complete pandemonium, but in the midst of it all, Jake and Emma, two kids in my math class who were dating were hugging, Emma had just found out her mom had had a baby at the hospital and was celebrating with her boyfriend. Suddenly, I had an idea. I took a picture of them then asked Asia if I could take a picture of her for the yearbook, then I found an old picture of Zeke and Morgan, copied his face and pasted it onto the hugging picture to make it look like he and Emma were hugging, then I went over to Asia and showed her my phone.

"Hey, I thought you should see this"

I showed her my newly edited picture of 'Zeke and Emma hugging'. At first she shook her head in disbelief but eventually, she began to cry and say she was going to break up with him. I tried to act all sympathetic and gave her a load of tissues, but really, I was glad to be helping my best friend. After Asia regained her composure the door burst open and Mr Williams practically ran in looking flustered and with papers flying from his bag. Our resident quarterback Chad tripped him up just before he reached his desk and the class errupted into laughter. I gotta admit, I felt bad for the man but this was high school. He couldn't expect any more or any less.
