Danny's P.0.V:
Once again I found myself flying above Amity Park long past my curfew, looking for any signs of trouble.
So far, there was nothing, but I didn't really feel like heading home just yet, so I continued to fly about the streets, looking and listening. But mostly, I was thinking.
What if Sam and Tucker were right, and there had been a ghost at my house last night? What if they'd done something to me?
The sound of an alarm startled me out of my thoughts, and I quickly turned toward the origin of the noise. It was coming from the museum, and it looked like it wasn't a false alarm.
I flew into the museum and looked around for anyone who might be around, ghost or not.
Sure enough, there was a ghost stealing an old-looking artifact. He looked maybe a little older than me, and was wearing a leather jacket over a plain white t-shirt. He also had jeans and black combat boots. Ah, the classic. Nice to know I'll be fighting a fashion expert.
The ghost thief shoved the artifact, which looked like it could've been some sort of flute, into his messenger bag, and looked over to me and waved before flying out of the museum.
"Hey!" I called, following him as quickly as I could. "Stop!"
I chased him halfway across town before I lost him among the buildings.
Who was that guy? And what did he want with some old flute?
Zach's P.O.V:
I finally lost the ghost kid, and quickly began heading back to where Sadie and I had been making camp.
Still flying, I pulled my burner phone out of my bag and dialed Sadie's number.
She answered on the third ring. "What do you want, Zach?" She growled into the phone.
"Love you too little sister." I chuckled.
"You're only older by 11 minutes!" She argued. "Now answer the question."
"I want to know if you did your job yet."
"I'm almost done." She replied. "I'm enrolled in Casper High and my background is complete, so my cover is fine, and I've got the neckless, so Danny won't be able to tell I'm a ghost."
"And the everything else?" I asked impatiently.
"Hey, you gave me a lot to do! It'll be done when I get it all done. I'm on my way to pick up the plants."
"Which ones?" I asked.
"The only ones we need. Blood Blossoms and Ghost Nip." Sadie replied.
"Be careful." I warned my sister. "If you don't check back in with me within the hour I'm coming to get you. You know how dangerous those plants can be."
"I'm not an idiot, Zach. I know what I'm doing. Now stop acting like this is my first job and get whatever else you need while I finish up my end." And with that, she hung up.
I rolled my eyes.
Sisters!
Sadie's P.O.V:
I reached the alleyway where I was meeting Johnny 13, and found him already there, waiting for me.
"You're early." I stated.
"So are you." Johnny replied. "I've got what you need. Do you have my bike's ghost portal?"
I nodded and showed him the Fenton's Portable Ghost Portal. Man this thing needed a new name. But thank god Jonny didn't know that this was experimental, and not like the one he had on his bike the last time.
"You got those flowers all boxed up?" I asked.
"Does it look like I've been exposed to either of those plants?" Johnny asked, his voice practically dripping with sarcasm.
I rolled my eyes, handing him the Portal. "Now give me my plants." I commanded.
"Do I even want to know what you want these for?" Johnny asked, anding me two, labeled boxes.
"Nope." I replied, leaving. "Thanks, Johnny!"
