You don't get it, do you?
You won't be able to get it unless you have been there.
It is a dark place. A very dark place with no light down there.
When you first fall into the pit, the outside light doesn't seem that far away.
You just need to pick yourself up again. It is what everyone else says.
You grab onto the walls and they are muddy and slick.
You can jump and grab on the edges of the walls,
But they are hard to hold on.
You can even get a foothold on the slimy walls. . .
Yet you will slip and slide from the top.
There is nothing else to grab onto.
Every time you fall down.
The further the light will become for you.
The further away you will fall.
There will be no escape if you give up.
There will be no escape if you keep trying.
It will just be pit.
An endless and deep one that gets bigger and bigger.
So say all you want and do all you wish.
But I speak truth. . . It will consume you.
