"Have a good day at school kids." Nessie says while she flew back to the house
I was at home with their dad sitting on the sofa, reading the daily newspaper. I hear him flip the pages as he came across the comic section, laughing.
Watching TV was something I never enjoyed when I was still my parents. I would always read things that'll enhance my vocabulary or draw some pictures. That was something only some four year olds could do back at the village.
Nessie then comes through the door and sighs in relief "Glad the kids are gone to school......Okay Kayda, we're going to walk around all day today and see if we could find you some clothes for school."
"Okay." I say
I walk upstairs into my room and pulled out the only thing I've always loved to wear. A light blue overall dress, black short sleeved shirt and black shoes. I then brushed my hair and went to the bathroom.
"Ready." I say quietly
Nessie nods her head and grabbed my hand "Draco honey, we'll see you later." She gives him a kiss "I love you. "
"I love you too Nessie." He says sweetly
We make our way down to the village where it's crowded and the air was filled with freshly baked goods. People trying to sell their products and kids running around, laughing and playing.
Our first stop was at an little, old shop that sold clothes from newborn babies to five year olds. A guy with a long, gray beard came and greeted us as Nessie grabbed a small shopping cart.
"Welcome!" He voice was loud and booming "is there something I can help you with?"
"Do you have any school clothes for a four year old?" Nessie asked
"Yes ma'am! It's over there on the shelves!"
I covered my ears but Nessie seemed unfazed by his voice. It wasn't long until he noticed me.
"And who is this beautiful little girl? I've never seen her around here before. "
"This is Kayda. She's staying with me." Nessie says "Anyways thank you for your help."
We walked over by the shelves as Nessie began to pick out some school clothes for me. The store was very big and spacious and it smelled like new, freshly chopped wood.
"Oooo, this skirt is so beautiful, what do you think?" Nessie asked
She held up a navy blue skirt with a matching collared uniform shirt. I smiled and nodded my head. She puts it in the cart and continues looking for more school uniforms.
I looked around and saw some uniform pants and more skirts. After a long, continuous search for school uniforms, it was time to go. Nessie paid for them and gave the bag to me then we leave the store.

After hours of shopping, I was beginning to get hungry and so was Nessie. We came to a cart that was selling everything fish.....from fish sandwiches to fish wraps.
"Hi, see anything you like little one?" A woman asked smiling
"What would you like Kayda?" Nessie asked
"I would like a fish wrap please." I say smiling
Nessie and the lady laughs "Okay, one turkey wrap and one turkey leg please."
The lady hands us our food and Nessie pays for it. We sit down on the bench and begin eating our lunch and watched as the people were walking around, enjoying themselves which made me smile.
After lunch, Nessie walked home with her holding me in her left arm. She opens the door and noticed that Draco wasn't here. I get down and sit down on the couch with my school uniforms and new shoes.
"Thank you for this." I say, smiling
"You're welcome darling. You want some juice?" She asked
I shook my head no. She comes and sit on the same couch I was on and relaxed after a long day of shopping. Soon after, Luna, Elliot and Enchinda all came inside the house and looked at all the things I got.
"Hey nice clothes Kayda." Elliot says
"Thank you." I say
"Hey mommy." Luna runs over to Nessie and laid her head on her chest
Enchinda walked into the kitchen and found a note on the counter "Mom, dad said that he's going to bring dinner home tonight."
Nessie nods as Elliot and Enchinda began on their homework. I go inside the kitchen and got a glass of water. I sit down next to Enchinda and looked at some complicated history homework. She make it look easy.
I take a sip of water and read from her history book. She looks over at me reading and smiled at me as I really getting into the history of our people.
"I see you're really enjoying the story." She says

Draco comes in with a bag of prepared food. He set the bag down on the counter as we all went upstairs to wash up. Nessie made sure that Luna was all cleaned and set her down at the table.
I come downstairs with my nightshirt on and sat at the table. Tonight's dinner was ambrosia salad, something I've never eaten before, but everyone else seemed to love. So I decided not eat it.
"What's wrong Kayda? You don't want it?" Draco asked
"Um.....no thank you. I'm mostly eat just eat fish and fruits."
"I'll see what I can make out of fish. In the meantime, would you like an apple?"
"Yes sir." I nod
I watched as he was preparing two fish sandwiches for me then placed it in front of me. I eat the food and was content with what I got.
"Thank you." I smiled
"No problem sweetie."
"You know Kayda." Nessie said as she was feeding Luna "You start school tomorrow, so I want you to get a good night's sleep."
I smile and nod my head in excitement. After dinner, we all go upstairs and went to bed.
