On a recently colonised planet, A millitary oficer is forced to deal with five of the troops under his command.

"Let's see. Gunnery Sergeant Baker, you have disobeyed my orders to secure an important rooftop. Instead, you took one other member of your squad to secure a candyshop. The first problem was that you disobeyed my orders to accomplish absolutely nothing. The second, and more important problem, is that only one of your squad mates even considered going with you to do so, showing a lack of trust in their commanding officer. Your other squad members went off to do things based on their own whims. May I mention that this was during a large attack on the colony by one of our most hated foes?" The officer clearly was more than angry with the squad.

"Sir! It was a...Uh...high priority target! Please stop being angry!" said the British accented Gunnery Sergeant Baker

"Stop? Why? I've only just begun to list the poblems with your squad! Corporal Philips, you went and filmed yourself taking a shower. While the building you were in was being primed for detenation by the enemy!"

Philips attempted to reply with "Uh, I needed t-"

"DON'T YOU TALK BACK TO YOUR SUPERIOR WITHOUT DUE REASON! YOU WILL BE SILENT UNTIL YOU ARE GRANTED PERMISSION TO SPEAK! Now! Private Jones. You abandoned the mission to go and eat at a restaraunt with your girlfriend. While still in uniform and carrying your weapons!" Spittle flied from the officer's gullet as he railed against the squad members.

"Lance Corporal Grudman, you followed your commanding officer to secure a candyshop. You followed him, when you should have proceded to your objective! What do you have to say for your self?"

"Sir! I was lead to belive that the orders that we were given were no longer valid!" The ever polite Lace Corporal imediately replied.

"So you only had followed your commanding oficer?"

"Someone should have given the others an example to follow! It just so happened to be me." He hastily added.

He follows orders, thought the officer, Just not the right ones

"PFC Leeroy Jenkins, you charged into the most vital battle on this planet while screaming your name. You nearly lost us the battle! What do you have to say about yourself?

Jenkins cracked a smile and fell over laughing, and rolled around the tent multiple times over. The rest of the squad started laughing at Leeroy's laughing, and Leeroy laughed even harder! Many hours later, he had calmed down enough to respond with "Nothing. But the way you described it was so hilarious!"

The officer sighed and moved on to the fifth and final squad member. "Sergeant Cruz. You didn't even show up for your mission. You were asleep for the whole attack. You are only here because I woke you up from your 'nap'. You even tried to- Are you asleep?"

A snore rose from Cruz.

"CRUZ! WAKE UP!" No answer in any way, shape or form was given to the officer " CRUZ! CRUZ!" And there was still nothing from Cruz

The officer promptly stormed out of the tent, and he was fuming with rage.

Nearly a week later, the squad had been confined to their tent. The officer had been looking for a way to deal with the troops without killing them.

After having a conversation with another officer, he'd found the perfect answer:

Capture the Flag

IT BEGINS IN THE NEXT CHAPTER

For those who don't like me, flat out hate me, are cool with me, and perhaps just don't know me, I am the wonderous Alc4n4tor! And I am here to give you a story to remember.

You see, my idea for this was spawned when I was playing a heated match of Halo 4. I was playing on Xbox Live with my cousin and close friend Malcanator, who hereby shall only be refered to as 'Malcanator'. It was Capture the Flag, on the map Ragnarok. It was during this match that I decided the a live-action movie based on a game of CTF would be awesome. But I can't make a movie. So I made a book.

Remind me to write more of it.
