Zoe's Pov*

Does he want to marry this whore? She's 5 years younger than him?! Hell, she's still a teenager! Joel's legal to drink!

Génesis comes back giving him a kiss on the cheek. She asks

"Are you guys getting along?"

I take a sip of my wine

"Swell!"

Joel questions looking at my drink suspiciously

"What'd you got there?"

I look down at my drink before replying

"Some of the Amontillado from Spain..."

He scoffs and mutters

"I'm not surprised about you still being an alcoholic..."

I roll my eyes hearing his comment. Génesis says

"I'm getting the suspicion you guys know each other?"

I smile and reply

"He used to be my b- "

He cuts me off giving me a death glare

"Lab partner in high school!"

Génesis nods and asks

"So how old are you?"

I reply

"I'm a few months younger than Joel, I'm 22!"

She nods and starts to look at the menu. She probably only wants him for his money! A waiter comes up and asks

"Are you ready to order?"

Joel nods and Génesis starts

"Some of the salmon would be delightful! Can I get escargot too?"

The waiter nods and starts writing down her order. I scrunch up my face in disgust. Escargot?

Joel opens his mouth and I begin talking knowing exactly what he wants

"If I remember correctly, he wants a medium rare steak with a baked potato with-"

Joel cuts me off

"Cheese on the side but not too much-"

We finish together

"In a small container."

Génesis looks at us weird but shakes it off. Joel continues pointing at me

"She will have chicken with lemon and a baked potato with extra chives. Also a refill of the Amontillado with extra cherries in it."

I smile widely to him remembering my order. The waiter walks away and Génesis asks

"So... What do you do?"

I take another sip of my Sherry and reply

"I'm a model and a YouTuber!"

She nods and exclaims

"Oh wow! I'm a YouTuber too! What's your channel?"

I reply

"Zoe Mendoza"

She starts typing and subscribes to my channel. I add her back not wanting to seem rude.

After a few hours, the dinner was over and I went home. Marriage? He wants to get married to her?

I roll my eyes as I fiddle my keys to the lock. I walk in seeing my boyfriend, Alejandro fucking some chick on the couch again.

"Really Alejandro? This again? You know what that's it I'm done!"

He looks up and gets off struggling to put on his sweats.

"No baby please don't le-"

I turn around and put my finger on his chest

"Don't you dare 'baby' me!"

I storm upstairs him following behind saying all this shit

I love you, I'm sorry, don't go!

I roll my eyes still walking with my best foot first. I walk into our, used, to be a shared room and grab my suitcase from the closet.

I start putting all my clothes in my suitcase. I grab my picture frame of me and Joel and put it in there as well. Alejandro yanks it out of my hands and asks

"Who is that guy? You've never told me!"

I zip my suitcase and grab is back, slapping him

"None of your DAMN business! DON'T EVER TOUCH THAT! Now get out of my way!"

I push him to the side hearing him sob. I storm back downstairs seeing the chick still on the couch. I didn't want to bother I knew it wasn't her fault.

She gives me an apologetic frown and I just nod back. I dig through my purse on the table for my house keys and put it on the counter. I grab all the kitchen supplies my mother had given me not allowing him to have it.

I walk to the front door opening it and leaving slamming it behind me. I didn't really care if I left anything I just got everything that was important to me.

Once I reach my car, I unlock it pushing on the button on the back of the car so I could put everything in there. I grab my suitcase putting it in the back of the trunk with the kitchen appliances following shortly after.

I close the trunk and head to the driver's seat opening it as fast as I could. I wanted to leave. I didn't want him to come out and trying to stop me.

My foot pushes the peddle as the car drives away. My eyes were filled with tears and so was the sky. I didn't know where to go, there was only one person I knew would still be up at this time of night.

I turn into HillsView neighborhood to house 9609. I park my car in the driveway getting out swiftly. I got instantly wet from the rain as I approached the front door knocking on it lightly.

My mascara was running from the rain and my own tears. my hair was drenched. The front door opens

"Zoe? Are you ok?"

I shake my head

"No, Joel my boyfriend just cheated on me and I had nowhere to go when I realized I-i love you still."

He looks at me blankly then takes a hold of my face crashing his lips onto mine...

A/N: HEYYYYY when I'm done writing this book I want to write a Spanish version but woah Joel and Zoe kissed!!! Poor Génesis! I hope you guys got the HillsView 9609 reference from back to the Future! Anyways this book is dedicated to daydreaming_dolans
