She sat in the corner of their bedroom crying. The negativity in her head had finally gotten to her and she hid in her dark hole. She felt alone and trapped. Trapped in her own head, never to leave. The walls began to close in on her and her breathing was shaky.
Footsteps approached her and hands engulfed her own. She was picked up and placed softly on the bed. He held her as she cried and assured her that everything was okay, that he would protect her and that she was so strong. She had always found his protective and dominant side calming. She felt somewhat small in his arms and she loved it.
Her breathing evened out and her tears stopped. He kissed her forehead and spooned her, tracing patterns on her hip. Only he had the ability to tear down her walls and see her vulnerable. Only he had the ability to calm her down and make her feel safe with just a few words. She was his and seeing her cry broke his heart in two. He wanted to protect her and make her as happy as she could possibly be. He would go to the ends of the earth for his love.
(I really like this one. I wrote it based off of the kind of relationship that I have with my boyfriend. Thank you for reading ♡♡)
