Summer's POV:
It's been a week since Asher and I started 'dating' and everything is going well. Freddy still doesn't know that we're just pretending.
I'm walking with Asher in the hallway holding hands and we bump into Freddy and Kale.
"Oh hey guys! How's it going?", Freddy asks. "Nothing much. You?", I say. "Well we're going to have a date tonight. Maybe you guys wanna come.", Kale says. "Yeah! Absolutely! We'd love to go.", Asher says excitingly. "Great! It's a double date then. Let's meet at the fancy restaurant near Freddy's house. See ya guys there!", Kale says as she walks with her boyfriend. "This is going so well! I'm proud of us.", I tell Asher. "Yeah! I'm actually having fun.", Asher replies. "Well, we gotta get ready for tonight. See ya there!"
We both leave and prepare for the double date.
(A few minutes before the date..)
I'm getting ready for the date then someone knocks on the door.
"Oh hey Asher. What are you doing here?" "Well since we're going on a double date, I might as well pick you up.", he says. "Aw, Asher that's so sweet." "Well we better get going."
We both hop into his mom's car and head off to the restaurant.
(At the restaurant..)
We get off the car and we see Freddy and Kale waiting outside.
"Hey guys!", I call them. "Hey! You guys look great!", Freddy compliments. "Thanks! You too!", Asher compliments back. "Let's go in!", Kale says.
We go inside and look for a table.
"So what do you guys want? I heard their steak is delicious!" "I'd take anything.", I tell her.
We all order our food. I ordered spaghetti, Asher ordered carbonara, Kale ordered some steak, and Freddy ordered lasagna.
"So how long have you guys been dating?", Freddy asks. "Oh not long. Just a few weeks.", I answer. "How's your relationship been going?", Kale asks. "Um it's going well. We're definitely in love with each other. There's no opinion I love more than hers.", Asher replies. "Yeah. He's talented, nice, and a total goofball and that's what I love about him.", I add. "Aw that's so sweet! All Kale talks about is saving the earth. Which is kind of cute.", Freddy says.
Our food arrive and we continue talking. I think I've gotten over my feelings for Freddy. But I don't wanna tell Asher yet. I'm really enjoying our fake relationship right now.
