Summer's POV:
Tonight's the night! It's the Valentine's Party! I'm all dressed up and I'm just waiting for Asher to pick me up. He's supposes to be here by now, but I guess he was stuck in traffic.
(After 15 minutes..)
It's been 15 minutes and Asher's not yet here! I should've known he'd be late. Then someone rings the doorbell.
"Hey Summer! Ready to go?", Freddy asks. "Uh yeah sure. You look great!", I compliment him. "Thanks! You look beautiful!" "Thanks."
We go inside his mom's car and head to the party. I didn't wait for Asher anymore. He's probably there already.
(At the party..)
"Wow! Look all the people!", I gasp. "I know! Wanna dance?", Freddy asks me as ge takes out his hand. "Um no thanks. Maybe later.", I tell him as I wait for Asher.
(After 30 minutes..)
It's been minutes and he's not yet here. I guess he's not coming again! This is the second time it happened. I tear up a little and go to the balcony to get some fresh air.
(At the balcony..)
I like staying in the balcony. The wind calms me down. But tears are still dropping down my face. Then a familiar voice came.
"Summer? What's wrong?", Freddy asks in a calm voice. "Uh nothing. I'm fine.", I lie. "Summer, I know you. You're not like this during parties. Just tell me." "Fine. Asher didn't come again." "What? Why?", he asks. "I don't know. He didn't bother texting me or do anything." "Well, don't worry. I'm here." "Thanks Freddy. C'mon let's go dance.", I tell him. "Yeah about that. We missed the slow dance." "Oh well. Let's just dance here." "Here? In the balcony?", he asks. "Why not? Let's give a try."
He grabs my arm and we dance.
"This is nice.", I tell him. "Yeah. Look Summer, I've always wanted to-" "Shhh..let's enjoy this moment for now."
Our lips go closer and closer til someone comes in the balcony.
