Day 6

He tossed and turned in his bed for 1 hour now. After one tiring day, he suddenly felt the need to sleep but because of his stupidity earlier, it made him harder to sleep.

‘Why won’t fall in love with me?’

Those words kept ringing in his head and reminded him of his straightforwardness earlier. He kept asking himself as to why he said that to her? I mean, yes, she’s challenging to him. She never even glanced at him so much like my other fans do. There was something in her.

Saturday afternoon was rather boring for Miyaki. She was done doing her assignments and had nothing else to do. Not until, her twin brother knocked so hard that her door might get broken with the hard knock.

“Tobiooo! What the hell are you doing?!” You screamed as soon as you opened the door but welcomed you with a volleyball in his hand and in a sports attire.

“Let’s play. We haven’t played in a while.” It was his demanding tone again. No wonder he got his king like image in others. You were quite bored at the moment and had nothing else to do so you took up the offer by humming as a response to him.

Rummaging through your cabinets, you saw a familiar old picture in a frame. 3 kids holding volleyballs in each hand, smiling at the camera. It was you, Tobio, and Megumi. You smiled bitterly, reminiscing those moments and put the frame back where it was. You got up and changed quickly not wanting Tobio to knock impatiently at your door for the second time.

Water bottle. Check.
Towels. Check.
Extra shirt. Check.
Jacket. Check.
Knee pads. Check.
Elastic band for emergencies. Check.

You were good to go. You got up and brought the bag to your shoulders and walked through the door. As you were coming down the stairs, you already heard Tobio grunting like he was in pain. You stopped in your tracks and panicked.

‘What happened to him?!’

You thought as you ran towards him and saw him lifting some weights bigger than the regular ones he uses. He saw you and made a grunt noise when putting it down.

“You know, you sound like an old man dying whenever you grunt. And do you want your shoulders to break a bone or something and never play volleyball again and-“ You were about to say more when he started to crawl down in the corner of the room, saying, ‘no more bigger weights’. You sighed; pulled him up and dragged him out of your house.

When you arrived at their school since it was the nearest one with a volleyball court, you saw the gymnasium open and hearing from the sound, it was being spiked and received. You jerked your heads towards your twin brother to your side, finding out that he wasn’t there anymore.

Irk marks started to come to your head when your brother leaved you outside and began running towards the gymnasium with a murderous aura. Sliding the door, you saw you Tobio ranting and arguing with an orange-haired boy that turns out to be Hinata Shouyo that your twin brother keeps telling you about that has insane quicks. As you were looking at them, you felt shivers in your back because someone was LOOKING at you in your back. As you turned your head slowly..

You saw a boy with blond streak hair in the middle of his forehead looking or should I say STARING at you. You found it creepy and decided to walk slowly towards Tobio without breaking any eye contact with the boy and that made you bump into someone taller than you. You looked up to at least apologize to him and saw the same look on what you saw on the boy with a blond streak in the middle in his hair. The creepy look.

What would any girl do in any situation like this?
A. Scream
B. Cry
C. Run away

The answer is none of the above. You had a straight face and without any second thoughts you punched him straight in the face.

Yes, you read that right. You PUNCHED him in the face. As soon as you punched him, you heard a scream behind you back, screaming ‘Ryuu!’ and saw the boy with the blond hair streak in the middle of his forehead running towards you direction and punched him too in the face, leaving the two of them writhe in pain and pretended to be dead on the floor. Like their souls was going out of their mouths.

You tiptoed to get through them and walked your way towards Tobio who has eyes and mouth wide open and as soon as you got next to him, you closed his mouth and began to stretch your body to get ready to play volleyball.
