I remember it like it was last night.

He proposed and we were so in love with each other.

And now, it’s finally happening, the wedding. I can’t wait.

“Have you seen the dress?” my best friend Libby asked as we went through some books.

“Nope, not yet, I’m seeing it tomorrow” I said with a smile on my lips.

“That’s awesome,” she replied smiling all over her face, it seemed like she was more excited about the wedding then I was. “I’ll watch the kids if you don’t want me to come with you” she continued.

“Its fine, Danny said he could take care of Mike, Eva is coming with me since she’s the bridesmaid, and you have no choice than coming with me” I said with a small laugh.

“Awesome” she said excited

The next day, Eva, I and Libby got to the wedding dress shop to try out some wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses.

“Hello” The lady that owned the shop said with a smile as we came inside.

“Hello” we smiled

“Do you need some help?” She smiled as she came over to us.

“Uhm, yeah, I’m getting married next week, and I’m looking for the perfect dress” I said

“Well, there’s a lot of beautiful dresses here. So, do you have anything on your mind?” she asked still smiling.

“Not really” I replied.

“Hmm, what about this one then?” she said and found a dirty white dress with blondes and glitter.

“It was pretty, but it’s not the one I want” I said and Eva looked like she wanted to throw up.

It continued like this, the lady found dresses that were pretty but still not the one that was my perfect wedding dress.

And finally she found a cream coloured simple dress that fitted me perfectly.

“I love it, this is the perfect dress I wanted” I said smiling widely with my whole face.

“It’s perfect to you” Eva and Libby said at the same time smiling.

When Eva and I got home Danny and Mike greeted us in the doorway.

“Eva and Mike, is it ok that you two are gonna be home alone for a few hours?” Danny asked

“Sure, dad” they both answered

“good, because mum and I will be going out today, just us two, and it would mean a lot to us if you two will act nice towards each other while we’re gone” Danny said, they both nodded as an answer and Danny and I went to this nice and cosy restaurant.

“Are you looking forward to the wedding?” he said smiling

“What do you think?” I said excitingly

“I think you’re really looking forward to it, and you’re extremely excited for it” he said with a small laugh, I nodded and giggled.

The days before the wedding went slowly but the wedding date came closer and closer for each day that went by. And finally, the day was here.

I was dressed, and the hair and make-up was done, and I was now on my way to the church to say I do to my becoming husband. We got to the church where my dad was waiting, he was gonna walk me up the aisle and give me away to Danny.

“I love you sweetie” he said as kissed my cheek and gave me to Danny. I smiled with tears in my eyes.

“Do you Daniel Alan David Jones, take Margit Sofie Vevle as your lovely wife through sickness and health, until death tears you apart?” the priest said

“I do” Danny said and smiled with happy tears in his eyes

“And, do you Margit Sofie Vevle, take Daniel Alan David Jones as your husband through sickness and health, until death tears you apart?” the priest said again

“I do” I said with a smile printed on my face with tears rolling down from my eyes.

“You may now kiss the bride” He said and Danny kissed me.
